Say hello to naturally friendly activated charcoal fluoride whitening toothpaste. This black paste is thoughtfully formulated with high quality ingredients like fresh mint, coconut oil, xylitol and activated charcoal (made from sustainable bamboo) and whitens naturally and gently by removing surface stains without peroxide. This toothpaste polishes and cleans, prevents cavities, and freshens breath. As if that weren't enough magic for one tube, hello is also vegan and not tested on animals (Leaping Bunny Certified). Directions: Apply to your fave bristles and brush like a boss. Look in the mirror, dig your black teeth and take a selfie. FYI, black paste may be messy so please spit responsibly. Smile often. Minty Fresh
I have to admit, I was very skeptic about trying a black toothpaste when the Stellar Product Testing Panel provided me with this product. The colour goes against everything that usually screams clean and fresh.
How is a black toothpaste going to make my teeth feel sparkling clean and white?
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the activated charcoal toothpaste left that minty fresh feeling I crave! My teeth feel whiter and my mouth feels fresh. I also really feel good about using a product that has all natural ingredients and hasn’t been tested on animals.
Highly recommend giving it a try with the soft Hello charcoal toothbrush.

Pleasantly surprised!
I wasn’t sure what to think of charcoal toothpaste when I received this to review for Stellar Product Testing, but I LOVE it. Although having a black toothpaste and teeth when brushing is a little unusual, my mouth felt significantly cleaner than with typical toothpaste, and I really feel like my teeth appear a little whiter! The taste was minty and good (no charcoal flavour!) and the packaging was adorable. High quality product. I love that it is made of nature friendly products. I would definitely buy this again! The only downside is making sure the sink is clean after you use it, but that’s the same with typical white toothpaste too!

Tastes and feels good, but won't be buying it
There's lots to love about this toothpaste - it tastes and feels really good in my mouth, and makes my teeth feel clean. Also, the lack of phthalates and BPA is great. BUT I just can't get on-side with having a black mouth while brushing. I have to rinse out my mouth multiple times in order to get of all of the black toothpaste. In good news, the packaging makes it seem like it will stain your sink unless you put in some elbow grease after brushing, but I haven't had that problem and haven't had to do anything special to clean or scrub it. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and won't be purchasing it for myself in the future.

Cool idea but cleanup after brushing isn't fun
I don't know if it's how I'm brushing, but I have to wash away grey toothpaste from all around the sink when using this hello charcoal toothpaste. I recognize that the same must be happening with white colored toothpaste, but I didn't love how it felt like cleanup after an art project every time I brushed my teeth.
The flavor was nice and it has nice frothing like I'm used to, but I didn't really see the benefits of charcoal in my toothpaste. I received it as part of the Stellar Product Testing panel, and would likely choose other hello toothpastes in the future, rather than worrying that I'll stain my white robe when some inevitably dribbles out of my mouth.

Makes brushing fun!
My first thought when I tried this toothpaste was “wow, this is surprisingly minty and fresh!” Knowing it is made from natural ingredients had me wrongly assuming it would taste terrible. But not only is it delightfully refreshing, it is also super fun to use. Seeing my teeth totally black before I rinse it all away to reveal my whiter smile is awesome. I do find it takes a little more effort wash out of my sink than a regular white toothpaste, but that just means my sink gets as clean as my teeth do! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this toothpaste, my smile has never been brighter.

Must Try!
I was given this fluoride toothpaste to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and while it is my first time trying a charcoal-based toothpaste, but it definitely won't be my last! I used it with the black Hello toothbrush, and my teeth loved it! The black colour takes a little getting used to, but you can't deny how great my teeth look even after only using it for a short while. It's a big plus that there's not a lot of extra junk added to the ingredients, and my sensitive teeth, which tends to take issue with a lot of different brands of toothpastes, had no issues with it at all. Zero pain - what a lifesaver! I can't recommend it enough to my friends and family.

Great tasting toothpaste
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this product as part of the Stellar product review panel. The packaging and tube of toothpaste itself is very visually appealing. Minimalistic and classy. The fact that the toothpaste is black, was a bit off-putting, but the fresh mint smell was perfect and compensated. The taste was great and my mouth felt clean and refreshed after using it. The only real issue I had, is the toothpaste needs to be thoroughly washed out of your sink after use, as it leaves black all over your sink with each use and is more difficult than other toothpastes to wash down the drain. However a quick wipe of your sink and you're good to go!

Great Toothpaste, Will Use Again!
Over the last few weeks I have been trying this new charcoal fluoride toothpaste by Hello. This is such a great toothpaste, I’m so glad I tried it! The taste was better than I was prepared for, in that regard it was no different than my prior toothpaste. My mouth felt great, very clean, and I would swear my teeth look more white. My wife has been transitioning us to more natural products in our household and loves this toothpaste as well, and wants to switch over permanently. I agree! Thanks to the Stellar Testing Panel for sending this to me to try!
