Bah ... Not that exciting !
First of all - the smell is incredible. Fragrant, long-lasting, sweet. If you do like coconut smell, this is the shampoo you should go for. It says that it is supposed to hydrate the hair and make it more shinier I guess... It was not the case at all ! My hair were still dry and damage from our harsh winter here in Canada. That was dissapointing. I am not sure if it was shampoo residue (I do have thick hair) but it gave me dandruff as well... I would not recommend this item to anyone.

I'm very picky with shampoos because my hair is long and most shampoos just dry out the tips of my hair. When I first tried the coconut milk shampoo I was very impressed with how hydrating it was. I've tried plenty of shampoos from expensive brands to inexpensive brands and have been disappointed numerous times. I always had a difficult time finding inexpensive shampoos that I was happy with. Herbal Essences bio:renew coconut milk shampoo is one of the handful shampoos that I'm happy with. With its natural ingredients it left my hair hydrated, clean and fragrant without drying it out. And the best part is, this product is affordable!

Very hydrating
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) First impressions...just another new kind of shampoo and conditioner to try out...man oh man was I ever wrong.
From the first use, my hair seemed to take on a new life. All brittled and dried up, I didn't think a shampoo would rejuvenate and hydrate my hair the way this product did. It no longer looks all frizzy and dull. My hair is smooth, looks hydrated and feels amazing.
The shampoo also smells great which is a bonus and lathers very well. I oook forward to washing my hair! I will definetly be buying this product over and over again because of the amazing results I have seen.

Truly Hydrating Shampoo!
This is one of the most hydrating shampoos I have ever used. Normally shampoos that don't have parabens don't have that satisfying lather that the chemical-laden shampoos have - but this shampoo has a rich, luxurious lather, and rinses out clean without leaving any buildup.
The fragrance is devine, but it's mild and doesn't linger in your hair or overpower your senses.
I was actually quite surprised at the fact that this shampoo didn't tangle my hair, which some paraben-free shampoos have been known to do.
I am so thrilled to have had the opportunity to try this product, as this will undoubtedly be my go to shampoo!

It was good, but not for my hair type
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) First off, this shampoo smells absolutely amazing. I also love that this shampoo is a lot more natural than most other shampoos found in stores. However, for my coarse, curly hair it just wasn't the best. I found that it actually cleaned my hair too well, as my type of hair relies on having a little bit of oil left to add moisture. So I can see it working well for people that have more normal to slightly oily hair types. I wouldn't recommend it to people with super oily hair as the coconut milk might add too much moisture. Just unfortunately not enough for my hair.

Not for me
After using this product for a few weeks, I have continued to notice that is makes my hair look greasy even right after washing . It smells amazing, I love the way the bottles look. But it just doesn't work for my hair, I love herbal essences maybe it's just I chose the wrong one for my hair type.

Smooth and Silky!

I love the scent of coconut and my hair tends to be on the dry side so I thought this product was perfect! After just one shower I was convinced this was the product for me! This shampoo left my hair feeling smooth, silky, and soft. It added just the right amount of moisture to my hair without making it greasy. It also left my hair smelling wonderful all day long! I also thought it left my hair feeling light and made it easier to straighten! Overall, I really enjoyed having the opportunity to try this product and will definitely continue using it in the future!

Herbal Essence renew
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've been using the Herbal Essence new coconut milk shampoo and conditioner together for about two weeks now. I have thick coarse hair. The smell is great. The shampoo is okay but it does leave my hair feeling stripped. I think this would be good as a clarifying shampoo maybe once every two weeks. The conditioner is nice. My hair feels great when the conditioner is in but once I have to rinse it off it feels a little dry. I think the shampoo and conditioner would work better for someone with a more fine textured hair that doesn’t require as much moisture.
