Coffee stains from
Somehow leaks when upright!
A real disappointment. I have needed to replace my old travel mug for a while, and went back and forth on several potential replacements. I finally settled on this option because of the carry handle (I have small hands), the ability to place all components in the dishwasher, and the simplicity of the thermos/ lid. Unfortunately, it has leaked since day one. Even when firmly closed and placed in a upright position in my backpack, the mere motion of walking seems enough to let coffee out. I always leave about two inches of headroom, and even let my coffee cool for a while before closing the lid. Regardless, I arrive to work daily with coffee dribbled all down the sides, and all over the rest of my lunch. Maybe mine has a faulty gasket seal, but I am hesitant to throw good money after bad by investing in new lids. This is not a quality item.
