Works excellent!
I've been using this for about a week now and I'm very impressed. It has my hair feeling shiny and silky and also protects it from my straightener!

Good - just a little heavy for my fine hair
Great product. As with many frizz products, a little heavy for my very fine blonde hair. Like it though!

Great to smooth split ends or flyaways
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) John Frieda Frizz Ease Perfect Finish Serum is amazing for my dry frizzy hair. I have been using this serum for over two weeks. I used the serum in two ways. First Way, I used 1-2 drops of serum on damp towel-dried hair& spread evenly throughout my hair. Second Way, I used 1-2 drops of the serum of my dry hair. For both ways, rubbed the serum in the palms of my hand. I put the serum on the ends & on the midsection of my hair. I made sure not to use a lot or on the top of my hair to prevent a greasy look. The serum is great to smooth my flyaways & split ends. When I wanted to style my hair I pressed gently to the sections of my hair that needed frizz control. The serum added much-needed shine to my dry brittle hair. It also made my hair healthier & tangle-free. The serum has a light oily texture. I am in love with its tropical smell with ginger extract. I like that the serum protects against damage from my heated styling tools. The serum makes my hair silky-smooth without weighing it down or making my hair greasy. I will continue o use John Frieda Frizz Ease Perfect Finish Serum & I will recommend to my friends and family. #freeproduct #trywithtopbox

Wonderful product
I first hear about this product, I believe, back when I was in Gr10 from a friend. So I decided to go out and buy it myself to see if it's all she said it is. And she's right!! It keeps frizz more tamed, and protects my hair from any heat tools I put on it (hair dryer & straightener).
Just recently I've used it on soaked hair and then used my hair dryer. I gotta say! My hair feels softer and there's much less frizz. When I straighten my hair, there's no frizz! I usually shower at night time and then sleep on my damp hair. When I get ready the next day I'll just apply the serum on my dry hair and then use my straightener. And there's still no frizz!
I've also used this serum on my friends' hair when they ask (or I ask) to straighten their hair. And they say that their hair looks SO much nicer after I've finished straightening it. It COULD be because I straightened it well or because of the serum, or maybe both! I also notice that, compared to when they have it straightened and after I straighten their hair, their hair looks a lot straighter and they have no frizz. It looks so much healthier! Like they JUST got out of the salon :) It happens to me as well!!
I am now 19yrs old and I've been using it for 4+ years and I don't regret it!! I highly recommend this to anyone who uses heating tools on their hair :)

Hot Stuff
I blow dry and flat iron my hair a lot, and so a heat protectant is an absolute must for my hair. My hair is medium length and naturally curly. It tends to be frizzy in nature and needs a styling product to fight frizz and smooth it out. This John Frieda Frizz Ease thermal protection serum is meant for just that. It's supposed to smooth hair and tame frizziness, while protecting against heat.
I actually think that this serum does a pretty good job of that. I apply it to my damp hair, that I then blow dry straight and flat iron. I only need to use a dime-sized amount of serum to coat my medium-length hair, so this product is likely to last me a long time. The serum itself looks like it should feel oily or greasy, but it doesn't. It has a very light scent to it that reminds me of orange Flintstone vitamins, although your hair doesn't smell like that once it's dried.
This serum does a very decent job of taming frizz and smoothing out my hair when I blow dry it. After flat ironing my hair feels healthy and I actually think it feels softer too.
Overall, this Frizz Ease Thermal Protection serum actually works pretty well. It ranks right up there in quality and effectiveness as other high-end thermal smoothing hair products that I've used before. I would buy this product in the future and recommend it to anyone.
**Thanks to TopBox Circle and John Frieda Canada for sending me this product, complementary to try for testing purposes. My review is an honest and genuine one.

Great for even thin hair, no frizz or greasiness
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This has been the best product to help my long thin hair with frizz so far. The liquid serum goes a long way and with one pump in my hands I can apply it to all my hair after it's dry with no greasy feeling. On my hands it does feel a little oily but doesn't feel like this once applied. It controls my frizz with a beautiful shine without weighing down my hair. You can't even tell by looking at my hair there's any product in there with no crunchy feeling at all.
I love the bottle! It's pretty unique from any others I have seen. There is a tube inside that shows exactly how much product is left which is very helpful. It is a little hard to read the white letters on the back of the bottle for the instructions and ingredients, I feel this should have been done in black print. The scent is lovely and you don't really smell the ginger extract, which is good since ginger is definitely not my favorite scent. It is more of a citrus scent, like oranges. It tames my new baby hairs that are finally growing in from all the damage really well. Love using this serum instead of hairspray that just causes more damage.
Although the ingredients are not all natural the first one listed is Cyclopentasiloxane which is used to help products spread and dry better. This is what give the serum that silky feeling without weighing down my hair. The last ingredient is Zingiber officinale which is a fancy word for ginger. Ginger has been know to help stimulate hair growth and help with hair loss.
I will definitely be buying more of this serum and recommending to friends. My hair loves it and the smell is really nice. I use it everyday on dry hair and have seen a big improvement. I received the Serum as a #freeproduct from Topbox in exchange for an honest review.
