I received samples of the shampoo, conditioner, and volumiser in this product line from John Frieda.
My hair is medium thick, fine, not colour treated, slightly oily, has some grays, and is shoulder length.
Pros: Nice smell.
Cons: My hair is not dry but this system made my hair very dry and coarse feeling with major flyaways and static. This might give the illusion of volume but not a good look.
It did not keep volume for hours described.
Took curl but did not last any longer than some other products I have tried.
Way too much suds with shampoo. More suds does not mean cleaner, just more additives.
Hair was not shiny.

Shampoo Extra Volume
I received this shampoo from Glam Sense in exchange for a review. I am so impressed with this product. I have very thin hair, and not a lot of hair, so I always need more volume. The product says what it does. My hair not only had a lot more volume, but it also felt and looked a lot thicker without being weighed down. It also had a very pleasant smell. It does need to be rinsed extra thoroughly and a little goes a long way. I don't recommend using a lot of the product at once. A drop the size of a quarter was more than enough for my thin, long hair. Overall a good experience. I really like this and will continue to use it.

Provides Great Volume
Let me start by saying that my hair is naturally super straight and fine. I'm always searching for the next new "volumizing" product that helps me to get that lift from my roots. I used this product for the first time this morning and to say I was impressed is an understatement, even my husband commented on the fullness. Not only did it look fuller, but it felt fuller, which is different from other products that I have used in the past. I used the Shampoo in combination with the Core Restore Conditioner and Core Restore Advanced Protein Volumizer. I would definitely recommend the John Frieda LUXURIOUS VOLUME® CORE RESTORE™ SHAMPOO for anyone with thin, flat hair that wants a boost!

Has a very good volumizing qualities
When I first tried shampoo, I was a little worried as I had just bleached my hair & was concerned if it would affect my colour.
In fact, I found it quite gentle on my hair & made it quite soft.
There was no damage at all to my hair so I would say that it is quite for coloured hair.
It was quite a light shampoo, but in combination with the other products, it did give me more volume.
The shampoo, along with the Core Restore protein-infused clear conditioner and Core Restore advanced protein volumizer gave my hair much more volume and I found it easier to blow-dry and style it at the same time.

I've been using this shampoo for a few weeks now and I've actually noticed increased volume. There are a few things about this product that I didn't like though. I'm not a fan of the packaging as I don't find it very environmentally friendly or of good value. The dispenser tubes do not carry a lot of product compared to traditional plastic bottles. I'm also not a fan of the scent. It smelled a little "chemically" to me. It did give my hair some extra bounce and fullness though which I liked. If you don't mind the scent or packaging I would say go for it, especially if you have limp or lifeless hair.
