Fantastic way to boost natural colour!
I received this product through the Glam Sense program. I had used this product some years previously but hadn't found that it worked as well as promised. Now I can say the product has improved! I'm a new mum and don't have time to wash my hair every day, but I find my hair is still smooth and full for a few days after using this shampoo. I have fine hair and it doesn't get too bogged down by it either! It also enriches my natural hair colour and brings out my natural highlights, which is great when I can't get to a salon! I will definitely keep using this product!

Regular use of the shampoo and conditioner kept my color fresh and bright while the color deepening treatment is a good deep punch of color and shine whenever I needed it. I color my hair so these products are great for keeping my color fresh in between colorings. I checked the price of these in store and it is really quite affordable! I'm not crazy about the smell when you first apply it but the smell does fade after you rinse your hair clean.
If you're looking for a short-term fix for faded, dull hair this is definitely something you should consider!

Great color enhancing
I received this product free from Glam Sense in exchange for a review.
After using this shampoo daily for two weeks, I have noticed a huge improvement in the colour and tone of my hair. The colour is a rich brown without any red undertones, and the shampoo has really helped to mask my roots as they grow in, blending them to be the same color as the rest of my hair.
The only down side of this shampoo is the bottle. I had a really hard time squeezing the shampoo out of the bottle, it would come out in the smallest stream. I have a lot of hair, so this did cause a slight inconvenience.
Overall, I am very impressed with this shampoo. It smells nice, my hair is clean, and the colour is perfect. I could not be happier with my results.

I've been using this line of products for a couple weeks now, and it really is good. It has a nice lather, smells nice and doesnt stain my hands or anything else...and I use white towels. I think for a colour depositing shampoo, it doesnt leave behind any residue and does a good job of what it says on the tin. By this point my dark dyed hair would be on the verge of a too long between colours red tinge...but using this has allowed me to hold on to the deep brown I love.
The scent of this shampoo does not last...which is a bummer...as I shower at night so by morning that clean smell is gone...but my hair still looks clean and is quite shiny and soft through the next two days. I dont have any issue with greasiness on the second day.

I have short, thick, wavy very dark brown hair, and about half of my hair had been permanently dyed and had since faded to a washed-out medium brown. This shampoo worked best on the dyed hair, but it also added a bit of richness to my untreated hair too! A very little bit goes a long way, and it lathers up very well, so use way less than you think and add a little bit at a time if you have long hair! And the scent isn't strong or overpowering, it's quite nice and washed out well. This also did not leave any residue or stains on any of my white towels or clothes. Would recommend, and will be purchasing it along with the conditioner for myself!

Better than I expected!!!
I love the formulation which explains the scent of the product. I have been using this with the colour deepening treatment and love the way it gives me a multi toned look - an deed bonus I have really stubborn grey roots at my hairline and while I noticed they are not gone..using the shampoo in conjunction with the other products has really diminished their appearance...I will take it! I used to try and attack the. With root touch ups that caused damage and was never long lasting. I highly recommend this product - I have mature, course, color treated hair that is dry, damaged and hard to manage and use John Frieda products have been a godsend. Only wish the brightening effect was a little longer lasting but I suppose if it was it would have an impact negatively on my highlights.

Excellent product that delivers what it says.
Received a sample of this fabulous product. I colour my hair at home to cover the grey and this shampoo is ideal for when the colour starts to fade ; about two weeks later. It makes my hair thicker, healthier with a great texture and shine. I already bought it and use it regularly. Highly recommend it as it does what it says it should do.

I received this sample for free as part of the Glam Sense program. I haven't tried John Frieda shampoo in the past, so this is my first time using it as well as reviewing. I have natural brown wavy hair that can be frizzy at times.
I've been using this product for close to three weeks now, between 2 - 3 times a week (basically after each swim practice). I haven't noticed too much of a colour difference, and that may be because my hair is naturally darker brown. With that being said however, I do enjoy the shampoo for its other properties. It doesn't leave a build up on my hair like some other products and my hair therefore feels more clean. It also helps tame my frizzy hair even though it doesn't claim to be a shampoo for frizzy hair.

I loved this Shampoo made my hair so soft and shiny..I love how's it's made my brown more intense and not as dull...I'm not too fond of the fragrance of this brilliant brunette line kinda smells like men's calogne.. but when you use the Brilliant shampoo and the colour deepening treatment it really does make your brown more deeper and then the brilliant brunette conditioner to finish it put that moisture back in your hair and the end result is visibly shinier, healthier, and nicer brown that's not dull!! I absolutely loved this line :)

I received this product free in exchange for an honest review. This shampoo worked very well, it not only left my hair feeling clean and healthy but left no residue. After being a "dyed" blonde for many years, I decided to go back to a brunette and have not redyed my locks in over 4 years, although this does not dye your hair per say, I find it brings out the true rich hues in my natural color leaving a beautiful healthy shine. I have long hair and I felt a little went a long way which increases how valuable it is to me as I can go through shampoo fairly quickly which adds up quickly cost wise. This product is high quality and I am very happy I got the opportunity to try it out as I will be repurchasing in the future as a part of my regular hair care routine.

Love John Frieda Haircare for Brunettes
I gave my John Frieda Brunette samples to my sister Tracy who is and has always had brown hair. My sister had never tried this haircare made especially for brunettes. She said it made her hair look so much richer looking, she also loved the way her hair looked and felt. She was very happy with these samples and said she would definitely buy, recommend and use them again. My hair is visibly darker and it lasts. The first time I tried (Using all three 1.Shampoo 2. Colour deepening treatment and 3. Conditioner) I left the colour deeping treatment on for only 5 minutes. Mess free, natural way to darken hair
Prior to using this product my hair was not color treated in anyway and my hair was light brown. Since beginning use of this product, my hair is now a few shades darker. Not only does this subtly and gradually darken hair, it also has the added benefit of making my frizzy, damaged hair feel so soft and much more manageable! This is mess free and the smell is not at all strong or overpowering. I would recommend this to any ladies looking to darken their hair without the use of traditional boxed dyes.

I used this shampoo in combination with the Visibly Deeper Colour Deepening conditioner and that combination really did make a noticeable difference after just one use, and even more after multiple uses. I find these products very convenient as I used to dye my hair darker brown but grew tired of the process. The only down side to this product is that I have a very dry scalp in the winter season and this product seemed to make it even drier! Otherwise great product!

My favourite thing about this product is how weightless it makes me hair feel. My hair feels super clean and light with no residue. There isn't a strong smell to this shampoo, so if you're scent-averse, that's nice. It gives your hair a deeper brunette quality but it isn't the same as dying your hair. So, if you're expecting dye-quality results, you won't get them from this product. But if you're looking to keep up your current colour (dyed or natural), this is a nice, low-maintenance product.
