Corn starch-based lavender scent is not the same as the talc-based powder
I bought the "lavender" scented Johnson's corn starch-based baby powder and I am very disappointed with the scent. I have used the talc-based baby powder for years and loved the lavender scent and the feel of that powder. But since the talc-based powder has been discontinued, I will be looking for a different product to use. The "new and improved" Johnson's baby powder has a scent that I don't like at all. I don't know what it's supposed to be, but it sure isn't lavender.

Disappointed.
I have been using Johnson and Johnson Lavender and Chamomile Pure Cornstarch Baby Powder for years. Sadly, the one I just bought a couple of week ago has not the slightest hint of lavender and is just 'powder'. Why would the product change and why would it still have 'lavender' in the name? Disappointed about the change.

This is not just for babies!! I first got this powder on the recommendation of my pharmacist when my one arm was immobilized after a shoulder break and I could not lift my arm. She was very concerned about awful skin problems that could occur. It literally made that six weeks tolerable and much more pleasant as it controlled odor. I started using it in lots of areas as it has the most wonderful smell and is very soothing. My daughter loves it and so do my granddaughters when they visit. The pharmacist recommended this one with corn starch because of concerns of regular talcum.

oh no!!
Oh no guys, what have you done, I loved the lavender baby powder. my child is 10 used this since she was a baby, now...good luck finding it or what's left, and the other ones feels like we are applying starch.. please change it back. bring it back. why change something people like? no J&J just NO!!!! why change the recipe???

I wasn't sure I'd like this but the scent is nice and calming. It is really good for sensitive skin. It makes my skin feel soft and absorbs excess moisture.
