Think of these like watercolors for your hair! These color depositing conditioners are made with semi-permanent direct dyes and are a perfect way to add a splash of temporary color or boost existing color in your hair. Appy to clean, wet hair for a more subtle look or clean, dry hair for a slightly more intense color. You can layer these as often as you want and you can get creative with your application!

3. With gloves one, apply to damp hair and work conditioner through evenly. Comb through for a more even consistency.

Lavender Smoke - Meh
I bought Lavender Smoke to attempt to maintain my salon pastel dye from late December. I always wash my hair with a purple shampoo to counteract brassiness, and then I was using this to help keep the colour from turning silver. The application was TOUGH. I had a lot of trouble getting it to apply evenly, and the first time didn't keep it on long enough. My hair was quite dry after the first time.
The next time worked in sections and then left it in for a while. The colour came out more blue toned than I would have liked, but it seemed to work. It was also softer, I guess as a result of having left it in longer.
For the price, you can't beat it, though you do need to apply a lot to get your hair really saturated.

Had to try it
I like to try different things in my hair. I am a light to medium blonde, but this sort of just made it look dark. I gave it to a friend who has long salt and pepper locks and it looked beautiful! But I would still give it another try!

Great conditioner, no colour.
I'm glad I bought this at 50% off because it did not deposit one drop of colour onto my bleached balayage hair. However, as a conditioner it's great! As are all KE shampoo and conditioners. So I will keep using it as part of my normal shower routine, but after 10 minutes in the shower there is no colour.

Amazing!
I have been struggling with my blonde during lockdowns, keeping it toned and healthy and this is the perfect product for me! The lavender smoke is subtle and beautiful and removed all brassiness, also my hair is never felt softer! I’m stocking up, for me this is better than purple shampoo!!

Worked pretty good
I used a whole bottle on my hair. Not all of it is purple but I went from yellow gold to silver and purple so I’m really happy.

Conditioner just made my hair look really ashy and dark, I’m guessing if you have very blonde hair it would work better !
