Not for Thick Hair
I bought this brush when it was on sale. While I love Kristin Ess, this brush is not for people with thick, wavy hair. Some of the pins have already folded and it just does not go through my hair. It would be great purchase for normal hair that is not too thick. It is also very light to hold. Hopefully she will released a stronger brush for my type of hair.

CHEAP & NOT FOR THICK HAIR
Prior to purchasing this, I was using a wide tooth comb in my hair while in the shower but recently it’s been more tangled than usual so I was looking for something different. I read the reviews on this and decided to give it a shot and was VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Upon taking it out of the packaging, the first thing I noticed was that it was very lightweight and made out of a very cheap dollar store-like plastic (if you feel it, you will know what I mean). The handle is made out of the same plastic and is hollow. I had to go back and look at the packaging because I thought maybe this was meant to be for kids or a toy for doll hair. For the price, quality is severely lacking.
Next, I will mention that I have thicker hair (nothing too thick, but since it’s wavy it’s on the thicker side) and although the packaging says for all hair types, I would disagree. The bristles are EXTREMELY fine and I noticed that my hair wasn’t even going through the brush - the bristles would bend on contact with my hair and the hair would glide along the surface but the bristles wouldn’t actually run through my hair since they were so thin. I had to part my hair in very small sections and monitor each time to see if the brush was even going through my hair. Since I have more volume up top, the brush wouldn’t run through there either so I had to comb through the hair near my scalp with my tangle teezer. The bristles should have been thicker and sturdier, especially since they are meant to work on wet/damp hair which is heavier than dry hair.
Shocked to see all these 5 star reviews and not one person agrees with my sentiments. I’d say this brush is good for kids or people with fine hair but you have curly/wavy hair or thick hair, do your research and find a brush that’s actually worth your money

I find the bristles are a bit too thin and short for my thicker hair. It’s good quality, but seems better suited for people with thinner or finer hair.

I love this brush! It detangles great and it's really pretty to look at and hold. It is a substantial size overall which I like very much. I was a bit hesitant
re the price but it didn't disappoint.

Best brush!
I bought this for my husband's COVID hair, but it actually works so well on tangles that I use it on my toddler. It's the only brush that hasn't made her cry. Even the tangle teezer doesn't work this well. I've tried it myself, it's honestly such a gentle glide that I wondered if it was even brushing, but it got rid of my knots too! Buying more for the rest of the family!

Deserving of more than 5 stars! I have a boat-load of fine blonde hair that tangles if I look at it the wrong way! This brush is fantastic at detangling and leaves my hair feeling smooth, looking shiny an tangle free! I much prefer this brush to my previous fave Wet Brush! ItâÂÂs worth it, you wonâÂÂt be disappointed!

Great brush
This is the first brush that actually brushes out the tangles on my wet hair. I have fine hair and lots of it. Ever since I had my hair highlighted it has become really tangled after washing. And it is really pretty.

Love this brush! I bought this on a whim as I’m not one to really brush my hair, but I love it! Not only is it pretty but it does such a great job too! Who knew this brush would live up to the hype from the reviews.
