Big fan of the Kristin Ess product line. This is the perfect curling iron for long hair, mine goes mid-back. I have only ever owned thinner irons, but after reading that your hair should go around the barrel optimally 2 1/2 times for a natural look, I bought this beauty. Heats up super fast, works great at the lowest setting on fine to medium hair and the shine is incredible. I had long loose curls that endured a night of dancing. Watch the online tutorials if you are not used to curling. The only complaint I have is that (clumsy me) I kept increasing the heat setting accidentally while I was getting used to this iron so learned to listen for the 'click' to quickly remedy. I used the Kristin Ess blow dry mist on my wet hair as a heat protector but curled on completely dry hair.

I love this curling iron so much
I have naturally wavy hair but I find it super frizzy so, to get it smooth, I blow dry and then usually straighten it. Regardless, my hair won’t stay as smooth as I’d like. This, however changed all that. It keeps my hair beautifully waved all day and into the next on the second-lowest setting - like, salon quality smooth. It’s easy to use (I’d actually never used a curling iron before). Honestly, it does a better job than my $$$ Airwrap a few years ago (which remains a great blow dryer, thankfully). Don’t hesitate if you’re on the fence, just buy it.

This is a salon quality iron that works well to smooth the hair and creates beautiful waves that stay in my thick long hair. I am very impressed and the price is reasonable. It also looks so beautiful to use!

This curling iron is not only aesthetically pleasing but also a great tool to have in your arsenal of beauty supplies ! Extremely user friendly. Tutorials are available on the Kristin Ess website ! My only complaint is that I thought it came with a wide tooth comb to break up the waves and it did not :(

Big fan of the Kristin Ess products and this iron. ItâÂÂs pretty, heats up really quickly and works so well. IâÂÂve bought cheap and expensive irons in the past and this is one of the best IâÂÂve used. I currently have shoulder length hair and it works really well - curls last a long time.
