• For best results, start with the L'ange Hair Rival Heat Shield.
• Put the heat resistant glove on the hand that will be holding and wrapping your hair.
• Do not operate wand with a voltage converter.
• Take a small, even strand of hair to begin with (though if you want a looser curl or wave, you can start with a bigger piece).
• For a full head of curls, place the base of the iron near the root with its tip facing downward.
• Starting at the base, begin winding your strand around the rod.
• When entire strand is wrapped, hold briefly with protected hand for 5 to 8 seconds.
• Release hair, letting the curl slide out from around the iron.
• Repeat until desired style is achieved.
