Rated 5 out of 5 by from A set for everyone I’m going to say right out of the gate that the Friends line isn’t my thing (age/demographic) but this set is just really nice. The build was simple and I really enjoyed all the little details. The brick built work bench with vice grip is especially cool. My girlfriend has a disability which prevents her from building Lego (we sat together and she watched me build) but she appreciated seeing how it all came together and that the Treehouse was wheelchair accessible (wheelchair lift, ramps, etc). Nobody gets left out! It’s a colourful set that also looks darn good when it’s finished. I might love Technic and Creator Expert/Icons more but I’d definitely get another Friends set in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unnecessary stickers I'll be honest, I've skipped over several Friends sets due to the plethora of candy-coloured bricks, especially pink and lavender. Just not my taste at all. This one, though, is chock full of medium blue, and all sorts of earth tones. Very nice. The build is great fun with lots of interesting bits, plus there are some really good parts (especially for the tree) that will be handy for MOCs later - which is why I bought the set in the first place. I have one BIG beef with the set, though: the stickers. I know that Friends sets always have lots of stickers, and for things like the beekeeper's flag or the area rug patterns, that's fine. Those are likely one-offs and it would be silly to print them. But using stickers for wood planks and round log ends, when other sets already include those as printed pieces? Come on, Lego. That's just sad. Printed pieces last longer, you don't have to worry about putting the stickers on crooked, and it makes the set look less cheap. You already have those pieces in printed form, just include them here instead of making stickers that do the exact same thing.
