Earned some serious "Dad Points" with this one
My 6 year-old daughter gave this gift to her Mother on Mothers Day (May 12th). They finished it today. My wife told me today it was the best gift she can ever remember receiving. Since receiving this gift over 6 weeks ago, every night for 45 minute after dinner my Wife and Daughter tackled this epic "Starry Night" project together. This one on one time with her Daughter was so precious to my Wife.
Lego is so much more than just Lego

This is by far my favourite Lego set I have built. However, this is the first set I've bought that was missing quite a few pieces. I was short some blue pieces for the painting, as well as a black piece for my frame. The missing frame piece ended up being covered so wasn't a huge deal, and had to use my additional blue pieces in a different color which no one will notice, but it caused me panic to make sure I had enough extra pieces to complete the blue wall. Overall buikd time was just shy of 9 hours and the piece is stunning. Can't wait to hang it up on the wall.

The set that got me back
Thought I was an adult, but nope, still a 30 yo kid!
I haven’t been up to speed with Lego since a while ago, and stumbled on this set just prior to its release.
The renderings were beautiful, and the completed set is no less so!
The back panel was the most tedious part, but still fun to do (may be slightly repetitive for some).
The 3D part is mostly on the lower side of the set, so if you’re using the sturdy back mount to put it up on a wall, it will look better placed on or below eye-level :)

i am relatively new to lego - this really caught my eye in the store buying my grandson a present. i loved building it and it displays stunningly on the wall. pictures to do not do justice to how it looks in 3-D

I was surprised how detailed this model was and the complexity of the background build. Challenging yes, however greatly satisfying when you are finished.
This is definitely a keeper and will go on my wall.

Amazing Starry Night
I'm 72 years old and this is my first Lego build. I have given Lego sets dozens of times to my sons and grandchildren but never built one myself. Starry Night is so beautiful I had to try it. It took me a long time to build but a more experienced person would have no problem with the tiny pieces. There were no missing pieces and a few extras included for good measure. It is very heavy so I probably won't hang it on the wall but stand it on my bookcase instead. This is a superb design and I am very pleased with it.

Disappointment
I never thought I would give a poor review but here it is. This set is a perfect example of what vould easily drive someone from ever building again if this was their first build. Multiple missing pieces, off color pieces which should be never especially in an art piece. absolute awful manual, overcomplicated and out of order steps, just overall unpleasant build. Im left with a lackluster and off color representation of one of the great works of our time. Poor show Lego, do better.

I never thought it was possible to take a Vincent Van Gogh masterpiece and create a simply stunning Lego set depicting The Starry Night like they've done. This set alone is a masterpiece and the creators behind it all have hit a bullseye. A definite "Must Have" set for all art lovers and collectors alike, you will not be disappointed.
