Rated 4 out of 5 by from A nice set with some disappointing limitations I am excited that Lego released this set recreating the scene from the movie, and were daring enough to include the pile of dino droppings. It is a relatively simple and fun build. I do appreciate that Lego numbered this version of the explorer to correspond with the damaged explorer from the T. rex Breakout 75956 set, so you can have 2 undamaged versions of the explorer for display/play; however, the build does differ from the other variant of the explorer which is fine in terms of avoiding a repetitive build experience across sets, but I think it is just too different to have them placed side by side if recreating scenes from the movie. My biggest disappointment is the size of the Ford explorer build, especially when compared to the Jeep builds in Dilophosaurus Ambush 76958 and Brachiosaurus Discovery 76960. Both of the Jeep builds are 8 studs wide and then you have a Ford Explorer which is the bigger vehicle but it is only 6 studs wide. Speed champions sets are all now 8 studs wide. I think this set would have been perfect if the Explorer was done in an 8 stud wide version.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok but missed the mark This set is okay but missed a few marks. My biggest disappointment is that they changed the Explorer design from the T. rex Breakout set (76956) in a few very noticeable ways, like the missing windshield wipers, changed front bumper, and different interior colour. I also wish the triceratops was built from Lego bricks instead of 6 large molded pieces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great set but wrong vehicle number Fantastic set with one small quibble to detail. The vehicle is identical to the one in T. rex Breakout 76956 but, the number in this set is wrong. This set has vehicle #4 but in the movie, Ellie Sattler and Ian Malcolm are in vehicle #5 when Ellie jumps out to see the Triceratops. This set should have used the vehicle #5 sticker, not the #4 sticker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Triceratops Overall a good set, I liked the build a lot. I wish the triceratops was actually a build out of Lego and not just a molded piece. But besides that a good set. Goes well with the rest of the my jurassic park builds :)
