The price point is a tiny bit too much for the brick count (still worth it though). We also find the weight balance is off a bit too, it fell over a couple times. All and all, this was great :)

Quick to build but very delicate - pieces need to be tight to ensure others fit properly and the head kept falling apart while trying to put together. However, once it's done, it looks great and it's fun to play with. Especially dropping the coins in and making the pop out the bottom! A little smaller than I thought but still looks great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Piranha Plant is amazing! As soon as this set was first announced, I knew that I wanted it. I love the Mario series and Lego, and with the knowledge that I would never be able to afford the question Mark Block set, seeing the Lego Team making another good looking/quality Mario set at a price tag that I'd be able to afford/(not feel guilty wishing as a Christmas present), I was so excited. My one small complaint with this set is that I wish the two ball socket pieces (piece # 14704) we coloured the same green as the rest of the plants stem and leaves instead of the light bluish grey they come in. Although this is a change I wish was made, its so minor compared to how amazing the set still is that its not worth taking it down from a 5 star set in my opinion. Amazing job Lego Team for this awesome design and I can't wait to see what other amazing Mario sets you make down the line!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Build This was the first Lego kit I've built outside of the Brickheadz line, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was complex but still easy to understand instructions and I love the end result. The articulation of the Piranha Plant is the best part of this so I can pose it in different ways!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great building experience Although the box indicated this kit was for ages 18+, I thought I would let my 7 year old grandson give it a try to build this. It took him 6 hours to complete the project with no help. He was so proud that he could construct a LEGO that was made for an 18 year old
