Great Beginner Set!
My 8 year old recently became interested in chess, so I bought this wooden set for him. It is sturdy enough, though not obviously of pro quality wood, but serves it's purpose well for my son. I only wish the chess pieces were a little more different in color, though it's easy enough to tell them apart as it is. My son has had fun playing the flip-side pachisi game, as well. I got it on sale, so for me it was definitely worth the price I paid.
