While this wasn't a winner in my hunt for a soap that doesn't flare up my eczema, I'm not really sure what the last review was on about. It's a hand soap, and it smells lightly of pear and vanilla. No films being left behind here (and I'm changing diapers and washing my hands quite a few times per day). Cuts grease just fine for me too (too much actually, as I do find it a bit drying. Less so than some other sensitive skin branded or "natural"/SLES free things though).

Love it - one of my favs
Firstly I loooove the smell of it, I think it's THE BEST scent from all other soaps . It's also all natural and I love how it feels... It's not soapy like other soaps but a more creamy texture , works well.

I've had better....
Had high hopes for this hand soap, but was quite disappointed. It doesn't smell very pear-y, and leaves my hands feeling sticky. Looking forward to using it up so we can switch back to the Method soap we love.

I donâÂÂt have anything nice to say about this soap except that itâÂÂs natural. It leaves a film on your hands and the sink, it doesnâÂÂt smell anything like pears (it doesnâÂÂt smell nice at all), it doesnâÂÂt cut any grease at all, I have to use at least 2 pumps of it and I still just donâÂÂt feel like my hands are clean afterwards. DonâÂÂt bother buying this one.

Stinks!
We use a lot of products from Nature Clean and had high hopes for this hand soap. It requires more than one pump to get enough soap to properly wash your hands. Biggest issue? It smells like Citronella, not vanilla pear, it isn't pleasant!!!

Smells like furniture polish
To say the least, I am extremely disappointed in the scent, which reminds me of Pledge, furniture polish. I don't know how they can say this is "vanilla pear", it's the furthest thing from it. If I could return the other bottles, I would.

Very confused with manufacturer??? Did they not smell it???
Does not smell like vanilla and pear. It smells only of strong lemon.
