Decent Shampoo
This shampoo worked really well at cleaning my hair, left it shiny and and removed any product build up! But if you have coloured hair beware! I regularly dye my hair dark brown and this shampoo definitely stripped the colour so I will no longer be using it, which is unfortunate because it cleaned so nicely! If you don’t colour your hair then it’s definitely worth a try!

THE BEST!
I have fine, limp baby hair, and not a lot of it. Almost all hair products weigh my hair down and flatten it. I've used this shampoo, and the pink grapefruit one, and this is THE BEST!!!!!! I am really worried though, because I can't find it anywhereâš. Please, please, please Well.ca, please keep this shampoo on your shelves, and tell Neutrogena to keep making it.

Bring it back please!
I have been using this product for over 20 years. I have been looking for it everywhere only to find out it's been discontinued. I don't put alot of products in my hair, but with this shampoo I only need to wash my thick, waist length hair once a week. I've had so many compliments about my hair for years. I'm pretty disappointed, and hope it will come back.

Best shampoo ever! Very disappointed I cannot find anywhere!!
I had used this shampoo for years. Loved the smell, how shiny and manageable my hair became. Suddenly I had trouble finding it in any stores. The last place I found there were 4 bottles on the shelf, I purchased all of them and am quite stingy with them. But now am out of it. Have not found anything quite as good or such a reasonable price.

Works well but beware of scent
This shampoo does exactly what it promises. It lathers well and easily removes a ton of product build up leaving your hair feeling fuller and thicker. The reason I'm only giving it 3 stars is the scent. Its overly strong and perfumey and causes bad headaches everytime I use it. I wish Neutrogena would tone down the fragrance for us scent-sensitive folks.

Overall, good product
I use styling products almost every day, so sometimes I need to really cleanse my hair. This product does the job, but my hair feels like straw after (i have thick, curly hair). And there's a lot of harsh ingredients that aren't great for the environment. My husband loves it however, and it doesn't dry out his hair. I personally only use it 1X/month...

This was recommended to me by a hairdresser over thirty years ago and is still good advice to this day. I don't use it all the time, only about once a week in place of my regular shampoo. It is clarifying and removes build up from dry shampoos and styling products. I love how my hair feels after I use it, much more manageable. Great product!

AMAZING!
For the past week my hair was suddenly super greasy even after I washed it... I tried changing shampoos and I stopped using any extra products. I was really upset until I found this shampoo. First wash my hair was beautiful, soft and extremely light! The nasty waxy mess of hair I had before was completely gone! Thank you so much Neutrogena!!

Great shampoo, now very hard to find in stock
This is the best shampoo. Really works well for everyday use and can really do a good job removing hair gel & hair spray after having my hair up in liberty spikes.
It's become very difficult to find this shampoo available in stores and online prices are becoming very unreasonable.
Please make this more widely available again.

Cleans your hair like no other
I have used this shampoo for years. Other salon shampoos we’re leaving my scalp greasy. And I was getting pimples along the edge of my scalp. I haven’t had this problem since I starting using Neutrogena. My hair is so much healthier and shiny. I really miss the large bottles and hope they never change their formula.

A few years ago my hair stylist noticed I had waxy residue built up on my locks from my shampoos and styling products and recommended this anti-residue shampoo. I use it once an week now and it leaves my hair feeling really light and soft.
I like that my hair looks really healthy and I am not paying salon prices!

Bring back my favorite please!!
I love this shampoo. I bought it for the first time in the mid 1980's and have used it ever since then. A friend of mine once remarked whenever she smelled this shampoo she always thought of me! *Please* bring this back - it was the absolute best and I was crushed when I discovered you had discontinued it...

removes residues
I've used this product off an on since I was a teenager. I have curly hair, so it takes a fair bit of product to keep it under control. It's also fine, so, too much product can leave it looking dull and flat. I've used this semi-regularly for years to manage product buildup, and it does what it says.

Makes a great addition to your normal hair washing products.
This clarifying shampoo is a great one to use once every week or two. It helps get rid of the residue that builds up in your hair over time from your everyday shampoo and other hair products. Whenever I use it I feel a noticeable different in how soft and squeaky clean my hair feels. Love it!

Oldie but a goodie
It's been around for years & the only one I recall to have the express chore of removing buildup. Always have it in the house for just that reason & it's never let me know. Shampoos & conditioners seem to be loaded with so much now that this simple shampoo is always a welcome sight.

This product is amazing. It has a soft, baby powder smell, barely there, and it lathers immensely. I have LONG and thick hair and the small bottle lasts me a long time. Your hair immediately feels cleaner, I wish wish wish there was an entire product line. This is incredible.

I THINK THIS PRODUCT IS JUST AMAZING! I USE IT ONCE A WEEK AND DOES AMAZING JOB. I USE REGULAR SHAMPOO EVERY SINGLE DAY WHICH CAUSES A LOT OF CHEMICALS AND BUILD UP, SO WHEN I USE THIS PRODUCT I FEEL LIKE MY HAIR IS JUST WAY CLEANER AND LIGHTER AND DOES GREAT JOB CLEANING!

Left hair dry and brittle
I am not a fan of this particular product. I know its purpose is to strip product build-up and residue from your hair, but it also stripped my hair's essential oils leaving it very brittle and dry. I want to like this product but it was a waste of money for me personally.

Purchased as I have gray hair
I like what this shampoo does for my hair and how it leaves it. I do have to say it has a strong smell. I mention this as I have allergies and I won't use this product regularly due to this. Smell is a subjective thing so what works for some won't work for others.

Cleaned well with light scent
This shampoo did a great job of cleaning my hair while leaving no residue and has a nice light & subtle scent. It's a little runnier then other shampoo's I've used but still worked well. The only negative would be the price. It's a little expensive for the size.

Amazing
This shampoo is amazing and really clarities but it would be great to have a larger sized bottle.. I have really thick and a lot of hair, as well as my mom. And we run out of it too quickly.. I wonder if this is too cater more to the women who have thin hair

Great anti Residue shampoo
I love this product and am very disappointed that it has been discontinued. With blonde almost white hair minerals in water and some shampoos build up. or color my hair. I could always depend on this shampoo to clear the residue. Please bring this back.

I am upset that this shampoo is gone! I have been using this shampoo for over 30 years, it is the best!! I even got my husband loving this shampoo as well. It cleans your hair that your normal shampoo works better!!! Please please bring it back!!!

this is meant to be used once a week to get rid of product build up in your hair from products and other shampoos and conditioners that will weigh down your hair and make it look lifeless. this gets rid of buildup and makes your hair look refreshed.

This is a great shampoo if you do not colour your hair
I have used this shampoo for a long time, usually every third or fourth wash to prevent other shampoo buildup.
Now that I colour my hair, I don't use it that often and find that it might be stripping the colour off. It is too much of a good thing.

Bring this back, Neutrogena!
I'm giving this five stars as the product is so wonderful and clearly beloved by many. Serious lack of judgement for Neutrogena to discontinue this. Bring it back. And bring it back with the same formulation. Literally nothing needs to change.

Great product!
This product is great for people with naturally greasy hair! It is a shampoo that you use once a week to rid the build up on your scalp for fresh looking hair. I think this product works great, is a good price, and I highly recommend it.

Good, but not for everyday use
I really like this product for when my hair needs a deep cleaning, like after going swimming or when I have lots of product in my hair (i.e. hairspray, gel).
I wouldn't recommend it for daily use though, unless maybe you have oily hair.

This is my favorite once-a-week clarifying shampoo, while washing out every ounce of product, oil and dirt it leaves the hair soft, not dry and brittle like other shampoos of it's kind. For the small price tag, it is extremely worth it!
