First time using it, felt exactly the same as any other moisturizer I use on a daily basis. I didn’t feel anything significant to change my usual moisturizer to this product. It smelled good and the texture was light and non-greasy. I see myself using this product again if I ever find being on sale or something. Otherwise, I recommend it.

Intensely satisfying moisturizing gel cream!!!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am so amazed at Neutrogena's Hydro Boost Gel Cream! I recently moved to a place that is significantly drier than where I used to live. Within a few weeks, my skin experienced dryness and cracks like never before. This came at the right time! I've used this for about 10 days and the hydration it delivers is incomparable. My skin has visibly improved and is less dull and dry. Certainly doesn't have that cracked appearance anymore!

I recently went on a trip to Palm Springs, which is in the middle of the dry California desert. Needless to say, after being in the dry desert heat and sun all day, my skin was parched at night. I'd put this on as soon as I got back to my hotel room after cleansing my face and would immediately feel my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. I'd highly recommend!

My cheeks have been chapped for weeks because of the weather, but now my skin is completely healed, and looks plump and fresh. I see a dramatic change! I only get pimples when I use different product or during periods. It Does not break out my skin as promised. My skin feels baby smooth. It's expensive compared to my Ordinary Moisturizer. Would purchase it if it came in tube format. I have long nails, so I do not like creams getting stuck into it.

This cream really moisturized and got rid of any dry patches. Alot of times fact creams are heavy or oily. Finally a cream that maintains moisture for hours, feels light and not sticky. A little goes a long way so although you may be paying a little more it goes further and is worth it.

It smelled great, was so soft on my skin and gave my skin a perfect amount of hydration. Great for the cold winter months here in Canada. It didn't take long to dry. I decided to try it under my makeup and it also worked well as a primer.
I looked this up to see what the price was and I was surprised to see how affordable it is. I highly recommend this product and will be purchasing it in the future. It's not very often that I see amazing products, that works so well at such a reasonable price.

A necessity
I have sensitive, red cheeks, oily t zone with dry skin patches and this is the perfect moisturizer for me. It’s a gel cream so it’s not too heavy, but moisturizing enough for my dry patches. Some moisturizers end up balling up on my skin, this doesn’t....it absorbs quickly. I took a break from this to try other gel creams, but nothing helps my skin the way this does. Just started using again this morning and I feel an immediate difference, skin already feels and looks better.

After a long winter, this moisturizer was just the boost my skin needed! It is lightweight and no greasy, and makes the perfect base to apply make up to. The scent isn’t too strong and my face felt moisturized all day long. The value for this product is excellent - I felt like it performed just as well as some of the higher priced moisturizers I’ve used.

I didn't get to try this product for very long as I only received a sample size, but from the times I did use it I was pleased. It felt really light on my skin and didn't leave a thick oily coating like many moisturizers do. Furthermore it really helped moisturize my skin (I have fairly dry skin and noticed an improvement the day after using this). Would definitely recommend!

It doesn't have much of a scent to it which I like. It didn't irritate my sensitive skin which is great. It doesn't interfere with applying makeup over top either. My skin starts off dry and then gradually gets more oily through the day, this helps keep it moisturized in the mornings. I do not necessarily need the extra hydration through the day but I bet someone who has consistently dry skin would love it. I find the product to be a little on the pricier side but a little bit goes a long way, and you could make the jar last a long time. I received this produce in exchange for review, but I would consider purchasing in the future if I needed some extra hydration.

The little tube they sent me lasted me three days, and I can honestly say that I noticed a slight difference in the hydration, indicating that it will go a long way once used regularly. It's a clearish gel that absorbs fast and completely without leaving behind any product. I've used a lot of face products that after absorbed create "slough" when I touch my face, but this one didn't do that at all. It provided just enough moisturization after I cleansed that I didn't have any dry skin, but also didn't have a shiny/oily face. It's scentless.

I find it comparable to gel moisturizers from more expensive, boutique brands in terms of quality, texture, and effectiveness. It's also light enough that I can put it on in the morning as I get ready, as a daytime moisturizer, or underneath makeup as a very smooth moisturizer/primer duo. It's also a very refreshing cream to put on when the weather gets warm, as gel moisturizers seem to have a cooling effect on the face - because of this, it also doesn't feel heavy or greasy, and I don't get scared about breaking out when I use it. The only thing I would change about it is the scent, which is a bit too powerful and reminds me of cheap soap used in public bathrooms.

My skin felt instantly more hydrated and it instantly absorbed into my skin. It is light and left my skin feeling instantly hydrated. I used this cream both in the morning and the evening and it was so easy to apply foundation after. I love fragrance free products and I didn't experience any irritation or acne breakouts.

I expected my skin to feel like it just drank a glass of water but it felt like the average moisturizer in that category. I did receive a sample and sometimes the full product results are different so I may give it another try. I do recommend this product if you are looking for a good moisturizer.

I decided to use it in place of my moisturizer. It worked great and smoothed out my skin as my moisturizer would have. I felt like My skin stayed hydtrated all day, with no sticky or built up residue.
I would just like to see more details on the packaging as to what application this product is intended for.

Strong Smell
I wanted to love this product, I really did. I just couldn't get past the smell. The scent was so incredibly strong that I instantly had a headache and felt ill. I can't review it for its moisturising properties as after about 5 minutes I had to wash it off. Extremely disappointed.

Since this is an item I can easily pick up at a drug store I would likely purchase this. I like that it has Hyaluronic acid to help hydrate the skin. The formula is really light and blends into the skin so easily.

Right after applying the gel, my skin felt soft and looked dewy and plump, however that 'look' only lasted about an hour.
My skin is not dry, however being in my mid 30s I do have some baby wrinkles around my eyes and mouth and I would still need to apply my regular cream and serum to address those. Since my regular cream and serum combination addressed hydration as well, I would not give this gel a spot on in my daily routine.
I would think this is more suited for younger women (late teens or early 20s) who are only looking for a moisture boost.

It went on very smooth and my skin sucked this stuff up. It absorbed super quick and left my skin feeling very smooth and soft. Price is decent for a product like this so i will definitely be looking to purchase in the future when Im due for a refill on my face cream. Would recommend for sure.

I like the overall feel and ease of using the hydro boost gel. It is easily wearable without any oily residue. It goes on easily, I think because it’s a gel cream.
Being called Hydro Boost, I was expecting it to leave my skin with a long lasting hydrated feeling but I found my face feeling dry/tight shortly after use. It did not provide the moisture I was expecting

Made my skin feel awesome!
I've been on a journey with hormonal acne, and my skin is very dry and stripped lately, despite my best efforts. This gel cream felt like it was going to be goopy for a while when I applied it, but my skin drank it up immediately, and it finally felt soft to the touch. I also use the foaming Hydroboost cleanser religiously. After cleansing, I apply La Roche Posay H5 serum, but this Hydroboost gel cream is going to be my final moisturizing step after that from now on.

It goes on your face so smooth and absorbs quickly. It didn`t leave my face greasy or oily at all,,but left it feeling hydrated and smooth. It also has a nice light scent to it.

Awesome!
I bought this product because I've been seeing it in advertisements quite often. I have to say that I am so glad I bought it because it works great for my skin. I only use a small amount all over my face. It sinks into the skin really fast and isn't sticky unlike a lot of moisturizers I've tried. It does have a smell to it, but I don't find it unpleasant (in fact, I quite enjoy the scent). This product leaves my skin feeling soft and doesn't cause breakouts for me.

My first thought when i took it out of the box was that it was VERY small. I am assuming it is a sample size?
The cream is nice and light and did go a long way once applied. Nice light scent. My skin felt soft and hydrated throughout the day. I will recommend this to friends and family looking for a new moisturizers.
