I bought this little tester jar and I gotta say, I'm in love! It's not greasy at all, which is perfect for my oily T zone. But it also gives me moisture and hydration to the dry parts of my skin. It has hyaluronic acid, so people in slightly more humid climates will get the most benefit from this product, as the acid holds moisture in your skin. I would recommend using this product after a serum to hold in all the goodness from the serum. I'm almost out of my jar, and will definitely be buying more!

My favourite formula is a gel texture as it is light weight but has heavy impact. My skin is hydrated but not heavy feeling. I think i will really enjoy this cream in the summer when its hot. I think it comes with an spf formula which I will definitly try.

Great moisturizer! Will be sticking with it
This moisturizer is really hydrating, without feeling heavy on my face. I don't feel weighed down and it barely feels like i've used anything. It's great all over face and neck, and I find that it doesn't leave my skin oily, just nicely soft.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This gel cream goes on smoothly and makes your skin instantly feel more hydrated. I am not sure if it actually did rehydrate my skin, but the texture was so nice that I'm not sure I care.
I have very dry skin which is prone to a little bit of flaking when the seasons change and usually any intensive hydration product resolves that. My skin still looked a bit dry using the gel cream but it felt so soft and bouncy. I will buy this again for sure.

Finally found the right moisturizer
This stuff is just lovely. I got a little trial pot in the US on a trip, and I’m so glad I did. I am normally super sensitive to fragrance, but this not only didn’t bother me, I actually love the scent! I put it on before bed and it’s like a little me-time. It’s so relaxing and refreshing, like a drink of water for my skin. It’s a bit pricey but a little goes a long way, so it should last a good while. Finally a moisturizer that feels good and actually makes a visible difference! Small pores ftw.

It was a nice product but I probably wouldn’t buy it (I received this item free from the product review club #gotitfree) just because I already feel like my skin is hydrated with the Neutrogena hydro boost sunscreen. So it feels unnecessary to add in the extra step especially with a higher price point. If you have really problem dry skin then I would definitely recommend trying it out because it is very hydrating. Nice product, but unnecessary.

Its hard to find a hydrating lotion or gel that doesnt make me break out, and that I can use year round! Im the summer I find a lot of creams or lotions or gels make me break out because theyre too heavy/dense and clog up my pores. This gel doesnt do that even when I put it to the intense work out test! Haha, I truly love this product, its the base of my skin care routine everyday :)

The product was very effective at moisturizing my skin while not making it feel greasy or oily! This is very important to me in a moisturizer! I also love the way this product feels when it goes on - it almost feels like water instead of a gooey cream, which I loved! It feels very fresh and "dries" surprisingly quick so your face feels hydrated, but not like you just put cream on. Personally I did not have a problem with the smell, but if you need something unscented than this is unfortunately not for you.

I am not a fan of face creams but I ended up receiving a sample of this in the mail and gave it a try and I was impressed! No break outs and it feels nice and light on the skin; leaving it feeling smooth, soft and refreshed.

I wasn't sure what to expect. I like that it sinks in very quickly and leaves your skin feeling soft without looking or feeling greasy. It's very lightweight and I like that. The only thing for me would be the price, but it seems like it would be worth it from the couple tries I got from the sample.

My skin can be somewhat picky when it comes to skin care, but my face absolutely loves this stuff! I already purchased a full size I enjoy it that much.
It's nicely hydrating but doesn't make my skin oily and it layers well over and under my other skin care.
I think I now found a holy grail for my picky oil pit of a face. So pleased with this product.

It was slightly tacky from the hyaluronic acid I believe but did not interfere with makeup application. I didn't notice any extreme hydration though. Skin felt good but not anything that my regular moisturizer doesn't provide. I did not find it moisturizing enough for a night cream. I would recommend this as a basic lotion to someone with normal skin. Recieved for free from chickadvisor.

I have a very oily T-zone so this product worked perfectly for me. It is very lightweight and absorbed quickly into my skin. It gave my skin a boost when it needed it. I will likely repurchase this again when I run out of my sample, with that said I think the price point is a little high for this type of product in a drug store.

Not sure if it's intended as an everyday facial moisturizer, but I use it a couple times a week to really hydrate my skin a lot more then usual. There is very little scent to it.
I would definitely recommend this product!

Its a light gel consistency and dries relatively quick. I can put it on underneath my makeup and it won't cause the rest of my make up to pill. It does not feal heavy on my face at all and my skin feels so hydrated, even at the end of the day when I remove it. Over all my skin texture feels a lot more smooth and moisterized.

First I #gotitfree, I like the way this feels on my skin, with it being on my nightstand it was slightly cool but that felt nice, I would use it after removing makeup just before I went to bed, sent was nice and I did not have any breakouts the next day, didn’t notice any major changes in my skin but I like it because when I went to bed my skin felt mosturized but not greasy like I do with others, I will be getting a full size jar and trying it longer as the heat can dry my skin, see how well it dose when the drying heat hits. I found this to be easy to incorporate into my routine as it did not take long to absorb only wish I had gotten more product to get a better idea of if it will be a permanent part of my routine and get others to try it too

It’s a smooth, clear lightweight gel that absorbs quickly and softens skin immediately without any residue or oiliness. It really hydrates, and, what I love most about it, soothes! It’s great for post-sun care, and sensitive skin in particular. It smells like sunscreen - beachy, fresh, and invigorating!

It is so lightweight that it melts into your skin. I honestly had doubts that this would not deliver but I was so wrong. With this brand you cannot go wrong. It's hard to doubt all of the science that went into this but, talk about a game changer.
It is totally worth the cost, and is affordable. It delivers.
My skin was completely hydrated but nowhere close to oily. A repeat buy.

I enjoyed this moisturizer, I found that it did a good job and it’s a really nice one for the morning because of how light it is. I think that if you have oily skin like I do and you prefer something lighter like a gel instead of a thick cream but still want moisture you’d like this! I still prefer something a little bit heavier for the night time but I loved using this in the morning!

I wish I had gotten a bigger sample of this because I am hooked already and need to go out and buy more asap! This lotion is a nice light gel and glides against the skin very easily. The scent is so good! It's clean and yet very faint, not overwhelming the senses, especially when you're applying to your face. Keep in mind I totally used this on my face AND hands because I loved it so much! Another awesome thing is that my skin kind of sucks sometimes, but this didn't cause me to breakout, which was nice! I also loved how it absorbs almost instantly so you're not spending all day rubbing it in. Even though it absorbs quickly,it also maintained moisture for hours. I am highly recommending this and I cannot wait to buy more!

I use a moisturizer every day on my face before adding my foundation . I like this gel moisturizer because it goes on nice and smooth, has a great smell. Is lightweight and non oily but still gives me A LOT of added moisture that my skin desperately needs. I look forward to seeing the difference in my dry skin the more I use it.

I was really suprised at how much I enjoyed the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream. You do not need to use very much when applying it on the face. It left my skin feeling very soft and hydrated. I have combination skin and have always struggled to find a product that hydrates the dry areas without causing acne on the oily areas, but this cream does the trick! Like the gel format too as we're going into summer, where I don't want anything too heavy (ie. creams) because of increased oil/sweat. Only downside is the price, quite costly for the amount you get, and I expect I would go through a jar quite quickly.

To be honest, it is too little to tell the effectiveness; I last only 2 days in my routine. For the first time user of Neutrogena, I quite like the feeling it leaved on my skin. Therefore, I decide that I would go buying the full size to try it for a week. If it's better than my facial lotion now then I would definitively using this product to use frequently.

I never tried a gel cream before and this product consistency is quite interesting. My skin have been feeling super dry from our Canadian winter cold months that never seem to end. After washing my face, I applied a small amount of the gel cream on my face and neck. The feeling of the gel cream is light, it has a nice light scent, does not feel oily and it made my skin more hydrated and soft. The price for the full-size is quite expensive, I am not sure if I would buy it but the product is great! Perhaps, if I saw it on sale I may pick one up. I would still recommend this product to those who are looking for a non-oily gel cream that hydrates the skin.

While I usually use a heavier cream at night, this product is amazing after I wash my face in the morning. I use it before I put on makeup and it really helps my makeup sit evenly on my face and gets rid of the dry patches. I would definitely repurchase!
