Great over the counter retinol
I was a bit hesitant to try this since a lot of reviews state that it burns the skin. But decided to give it a try, and am glad I did. It’s been one week, and I definitely see results. My skin is smoother, and my hyperpigmentation from maske has started to lighten. I have sensitive skin, so decided to start using this at night only and I use a very small amount (a pea size to achieve a very thin layer over my entire face, plus another half of a pea size on my neck). I also do the moisturizer sandwich - I put a layer of basic and simple moisturizer on first, then the retinol, then a final layer of moisturizer. I use sunscreen everyday, and have ditched all other actives from my routine. I even stopped my vitamin c serum. Lastly, my cleanser is super basic, which I use twice a day. I actually love how simple and effective my skincare routine is now. So far, I’ve experienced minimal flaking, and a bit of dry/tightness in my skin. Overall, I am really pleased. Thanks, Neutrogena!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I tried this for a Chick Advisor campaign. I was looking forward to try this product given I'm 36 and showing early signs of aging. I was impressed by the texture and the lack of weird smell. The smell is actually pleasant and almost non-existent which I love. It's too early to talk about the anti-agings properties but the texture is perfect and it moisturizes well without being greasy at all.
It is a huge plus that there is no weird smell, as most anti-aging products I've tried usually have a strong smell (probably because of the retinol).
Glad I was able to add this to my routine! Thanks!

I am a fan of Neutrogena products and this was not a let down and kept with the amazing products I’ve come to expect from Neutrogena I have used this the last few weeks and have seen a noticeable difference in my skin! At first it made my skin a little tingly around the eyes but Judging by the results it was just the cream working I like the thickness of then cream it feels like it’s being effective and there is a faint barley there scent I will be adding this product to my regular skin care routine going forward

I incorporated it into my daily routine, both morning and evening, and after only a week I noticed a difference in my skin. I did notice that it dried out my skin a bit towards the beginning of the trial and it did produce a bit of a burning sensation but according to the package, this was to be expected. After a week the dryness and the burning went away and I did see a noticeable softening of the skin around my eyes and mouth. I would definitely recommend the product to family and friends!

I went down to using once per day, and still found it bothered my face. I used it once or twice per week, and I don't find much difference in the before and after. The fine lines that I was trying to get rid of or lessen are still there. I must say that it is quite a large container, and if it happens to work for you it is quite a good value for your money as most creams of this nature come in tiny containers with a much higher price tag.

I have been using it for 7 days now day and night and my wrinkles are still visible. I expected them to be gone by now. It says fragrance free, yet it does have not so nice oder. After two days I noticed slight skin peeling and a really dark spots that I had for 3 years is fading away nicely. Sooo.. I will use this as a skin toner when ever needed. The cream goes on smooth and light and leaves your face feeling fresh. I give it 5 stars for skin toning, getting rid of dark spots!

I just turned 40 this past January and I am always looking for the new miracle cream lol to help slow the hands of time on my aging skin lol so this cream was a happy addition to my routine I have sensitive skin so I don’t like to use anything with fragrance and this one doesn’t have any it is a thicker consistency which is nice I have used this at nighttime before bed and in the morning my skin feels and looks so smooth!!! I will absolutely continue to use this and will buy again!!!

I wish I would have taken a before pic because I genuinely believe this has made a difference, especially on my laugh lines - they are not noticeable in the mornings. I love that this is scent free and has great ingredients, my skin did not react. I started with just using this every night and by the third week I added it into my morning skin routine every second day. Truly impressed, this is my first experience with retinol - would buy again!
