Works great with no irritation.

I was a bit nervous trying this product as it has specific instructions on testing, but it was very well tolerated. I had no issues with irritation or redness. I noticed my skin was smoother after only a few days. It does have an odd smell though.
I am using it on some whiteheads on my forehead and around my nose ring, where I always get blackheads.

I used it twice only so will put my initial first thought. The serum is quickly absorbed and does not dry the skin out. It is easy to spread . It has salicylic acid so will help to keep away acne . The only drawback I foresee is that it has a strong smell and the tube is expensive for the size.

Neutrogena Stubborn Blackheads Daily Serum is a salicylic acid acne treatment used to clear out blackheads. I recently had a small breakout and quite a few blackheads on my face, so this product was extremely useful for me.
The tube and tip made it easy to squeeze out and apply, and there was no stinging sensation or sticky feeling to the product. The serum got absorbed into my skin fast and easily. While there was a slight odour to it that I didn't like, that was the only complaint I had. I did notice a few new blackheads on my forehead after initial use, but it cleared them and everything else on my face up.
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has oily skin and blackheads, as it helped me a lot!

I really enjoyed using this Neutrogena Stubborn Blackheads Daily Serum. It has so many awesome acne fighting ingredients all combined together. It has glycolic acid, salicylic acid, mandelic acid and polyhydroxy acids.
I generally tolerate salicylic acid very well and this serum was also quite nice for me. The consistency is light and not too watery. It went on smoothly, has a slight scent which was not overpowering at all. I put it on at night in my problem areas, it left a slight residue which I wiped off prior to washing my face in the morning. I used this as both preventative for stopping breakouts from occurring and as a spot treatment for any existing acne especially on my nose area and it really helped! I also love the gentle exfoliating part of this serum, because I can definitely see it already started to fade some red acne scarring spots i had on my forehead. Overall, I am glad to have tried this and will continue to use this acne serum. I recommend this to anyone struggling with stubborn acne or blackheads!

I've been lucky to test out the Neutrogena Stubborn Blackhead Serum. This fragrance-free daily serum improves the appearance of acne-prone skin and reduces the likelihood of developing blackheads. Its formula contains salicylic acid to treat pimples, glycolic acid to remove pore-clogging debris, mandelic acid to exfoliate, and polyhydroxy acid to increase skin clarity. This serum is clinically proven and dermatologist tested, and formulated without any dyes, fragrances, oil, parabens, or phthalates.
I started out testing the serum on a small pimple area, three nights in a row, to assess how my skin would react. The directions advise applying the product once a day for 3 days to test skin sensitivity. My pimple started drying out very quickly, and within a few days looked less angry and noticeable. My skin did not have any adverse reaction to the serum. I also began applying the product to my T-zone area (nose and forehead). I definitely noticed an improvement in the appearance of my pores, especially around my nose. The blackheads in this zone are often clogged, and this serum was very effective at exfoliating the area and making them less severe. After a couple weeks my skin looked clearer and my pimples shrunk and disappeared faster using this product.
I am very impressed. I will absolutely continue using this serum on my pimples and blackheads, and look forward to seeing continued results and clearer skin going forward. I recommend.
