Directions: Rub a small amount in hands and work through damp or dry hair.

Nice smell, good hold!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I got sent this for free for the old spice voxbox to try out, and I'm actually pleasantly surprised! I don't have much experience with hair putty, so will have to experiment a little more, however was satisfied with what I found while putting a bit in my hair. the putty dries clear, and has a really nice sandalwood-y scent to it. usually I don't like perfume-y scents, but it's light enough that it isn't overwhelming. has a medium hold to it as well. I guess the only unfortunate thing is that I don't believe old spice to be cruelty free upon realizing :( Going to use up this product, but don't believe I would purchase again just for that very reason

amazing cream for the hair
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Thankyou so much Influenster for choosing me, I really like the cream , so basically the pomade is like a nice thick cream texture . It smells really good, it has aloe in it which is really good for the hair and doesnt give greasy feeling. It is not as thick as styling gel but its holds really well especially for the guys who have long hair , this works amazing to comb the hair down. It give a medium hold and gives a bit of shine if applied in the slightly wet hair instead of fully dried hair.

Amazing texture and excellent smell
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I tried this pomade daily for almost 3 weeks. First impression: fantastic scent! Given that it is Old Spice, I suppose that should be a given but it really is excellent. The best thing about it however is the amazing texture! So easy to work with and apply. I could *almost* give it 5 stars except it gets a bit difficult to fix at the end of the day; its a bit sticky and harder to fix/restyle as the day goes on. But most products, even the best ones, are like this. I have longer hair so it was great even for me, and probably even better with shorter hair. Has a nice matte finish but applies like a cream. Recommended for matte finish for any length, but highly recommended if you have shorter hair.

Not for him
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My partner has thin, wavy, just-below-ear length hair. Most of the hold he required was right at the front and sides to minimize fly-aways. He found that the “Old Spice Barber’s Blend Pomade” held quite well and was indeed matte but it was also drying in the long run and left a bit of a residue. However he absolutely could not tolerate the strong synthetic fragrance. He said it eventually gave him a headache both times he tried it. So unfortunately for my guy it was a no.

great product!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This stuff is awesome! I was really excited to try this line and I got a perfect product for me. Its got a nice light scent to it and a really good hold. Even with quarantine hair this stuff holds my hair in place without any hairspray. I love seeing more barber style products coming out and cant wait to try the other products in this line!
Also, pro tip, it works better going in wet. I always do this method and it smooths out the product like butter

Not a fan
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We both agreed that it smelled ok. I did find it to be a bit strong tho he didn't mind it at all. As to actual hold and usage....well I wouldn't say it's a medium hold. Also I don't think it's supposed to clump up. He spent a considerable amount of time trying to smooth out and get rid of clumps of white out of his hair even tho he used a tiny amount when trying it out. Definitely won't be picking this one up. #freeproduct

Didn’t Work for Him
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My husband was excited to try this product line but was unfortunately disappointed. While the packaging and scent were nice, the pomade formula was not well suited for his hair type. He has naturally oilier hair, so was not enthusiastic about using a pomade. He gave it a try, but it made his hair look like it hadnt been washed in several days - very slick. This would work well for someone with a different hair texture.

Really Nice Product

He doesnt usually use puttys other pomades, so it was a bit tricky for him to get a style he liked. He did say that the smell was nice, and that he appreciated that the product wasnt sticky or tacky feeling. It also didnt make his hair look or feel greasy. Just like a good hairspray without the sticky mess!
