I was shocked that it smelled so amazing and yet it has no parabens or silicones or dyes. The first time I used it I was sceptical about it being good for my scalp, but with the second and third was I noticed my hair and scalp feeling much more full of life. It does remove the dirt from the root, I could feel it. Usually my hair is dull and oily (no body or bounce). This is definitely a product for people who would like to bring life to their hair! I would definitely recommend this shampoo. I am planning to continue using as my hair has not looked this good or smelled this nice eight any other shampoo so far.

So I had a keratin treatment done to my hair about a month ago and even though I was told by my stylist to use sulfate free based products to keep my treatment in longer, I decided to rebel when I received this offer from Shopper Army. I am glad I decided to try this shampoo and conditioner and quite frankly, it's no different from the sulfate free treatments! It's uplifting scent and cooling feeling is what I loved best, especially on hot and humid days. It's a product that I will be purchasing in the future. Pro V Charcoal Purifying Root Wash Blends are for you! I love the crisp clean volume and shine with every wash. It's fresh unisex scent leaves it's essence wherever you go and you will be remembered. You only need less than a dime size pump with medium length hair. The easy pump action is quick and convenient!

A small amount goes a long way and it left my hair squeaky clean and lightweight. I love that is had no parabens, dyes, or silicone so it is safe to use for my colour treated hair. I also had one of my coworkers compliment me on the smell of my hair! I will definitely be buying this again!

I'm not sure what a "purifying root wash" is supposed to be exactly, but I know it's not for my hair. Maybe if I did not have such processed ends, it would make my hair feel less gummy and straw-like, but this is what I have experienced. I have short hair, with half bleached out and the other half natural, but I really didn't even like how it made my unprocessed hair feel. I had to wash my hair twice, to feel like it's really gotten down to the sweat and oil, and then it left my ends feeling gross, gummy, and matted. I like a more hydrating shampoo, and this is not the case at all. The only part that i likes about the product was the scent.

The shampoo lathers very well. I have a hard time describing the scent, to me its more of a woody scent, but very pleasant. There is peppermint and menthol in the ingredients, so you have that tingle, cooling effect on your scalp. Rinses well. However, I did not feel like this shampoo purified my hair and revitalized it. It felt no different than any other shampoo. My hair felt more dry and left me with a dry, itchy scalp after one week of use. I do think this product is right for me, so I will not be purchasing it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Miracle Product OH MAN! This charcoal shampoo and condition is INCREDIBLE!! My hair has never been lighter and bouncier than it is right now. I noticed a difference almost immediately and so did so many other people. Normally I have fairly greasy hair and need to wash my hair every day but with this shampoo I can go 2-3 days without washing my hair as it still has that clean and fresh look to it.

My colored hair initially felt cleaned well but somewhat stiff after using Pantene Charcoal Shampoo Purifying Root Wash. Initially I thought it could be because its different shampoo than what my hair is accustomed to. When completed I tried to comb my straight hair and it was a tough go with all the unusual knots. Once dry my hair then looked unexpectedly frizzy. However, with all that said I got a number of complements throughout my day!! Unfortunately, the usual routine of hair washing (every 3rd day) would not work and my hair became very oily and needed more regular washing.
