It is not too soft and not too sticky. It was my first time using Penaten and I applied it to some red diaper rash on my 2 month old baby. It is easy to apply / lather and the rash was gone overnight. Easy to clean out from the baby the next day as well. The only thing I will change is to add a film cover inside the tub. The first time you open the tub it is easy to let it 'drip' from the cover. And maybe an applicator also.

Excellent cream for diaper and skin rashes

This creamy jar format has a smoother consistency that's easier and gentler to apply on sore skin. It instantly soothes the skin and everyone in my family has used it, from baby to my elderly mom on her skin rash. I find that it works very quickly to heal and protect delicate skin. I also love that it is dermatologist tested and contains no fragrance or parabens. It is soothing and gentle enough to use regularly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in need of an effective multi-purpose diaper rash cream!

Alright, the pentaten in the tin is better
After using nearly the whole tube, we looked at the zinc oxide content and compared it with the penaten found in the tin. I was surprised to see a difference in the zinc oxide content. Once we switched to the higher zinc oxide content our daughter's rash cleared up in no time.

We have always trusted the johnson and johnson brand with all of our children ranging from 15 years old down to 9 months. I cant say enough great things about the penaten creamy diaper rash cream. It is by far the best diaper rash cream. Love love love this product.

Works Wonders
This is AMAZING!!! My little ones used to get diapers rashes when they were younger and this always helped cool and heal fast. Now that they are older and no longer need diapers, sometime from the heat they still get rashes and I still use this and it always helps heal the area fast. Amazing product!

Best Diaper Rash Cream

Penaten is the best diaper rash cream and helps so much ! Anytime baby girl has a red bum, we put this cream on throughout the day with every diaper change. You can see the difference and see the cream working as her bum is less red after each application. We also apply the cream once a day
usually, when she doesn't have a rash to prevent her from getting one and that helps alot as well !

Looks crystallized??
Just bought today to use on my baby's severe diaper rash. Opened the tin and there's light brown and grainy pieces all over the top of the surface??? This is unusual and I'm not sure if it's even safe to use

Messy and what is with that texture…?
This has a soft toothpaste consistency now and little lumpy granules of IDK cornstarch or something? Looks like white textured deck paint that hasn’t been mixed.

It didn't work for my 2 month old baby

Penaten diaper rash cream is the medicated version and has a more smooth and creamy texture as compared to other creams. I've used this cream liberally on my baby's bump for a few days in hopes to get the rashes treated. But, sadly it didn't work for my baby. She has redness and chafing around her bump and it didn't do anything to make it better. She developed more after using it. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Not only is it creamy but is not greasy. It comes in a large containers and is easy to use. As a mother of twin baby girls my girls tend to get diaper rashes pretty often. This product works really fast and is very easy to use. A must have in my household! I highly recommend this product for anyone that has a baby. A great and very useful baby gift!

The creamy texture is very easy to spread, makes it very easy to coat baby's diaper area. No strong smell or fragrance to irrigate baby's delicate skin. Works like a charm
This cream is excellent for older childrens rashes as well as diaper rash. My 6 year old son had a rash all over his thighs from the chlorine in the pool and this was the only thing he would let me put on it. His rash was completely better within 2 days.
