Easy to use
I have used this product for the last 7 months and I must say it's extremely easy to use and does the job. For all those saying that it rusts, it does not rust...the brown film on the element is from breast milk/formula left in the bottles. To avoid this from happening ensure that you rinse all bottles thoroughly before placing in the sterilizer. There are specific cleaning instructions provided with the product for when the brown (rust like) film does start to appear and it is easily removable. The only complaint I have is that mine stopped working last night however philips was very good at replacing the unit. I can't wait to get my new one so I can continue to use this product.

Not intended for long term use!
This was a perfectly working sterilizer for six months before it just completely died. Same issues with all of the other customers: burnt rust after a few cycles, will not turn on. Would need to disinfect with white vinegar on a weekly basis to remove the burnt rust and calcium buildup. That wasn't really an issue because these types of equipment need maintenance cleaning. It's the product breaking after six
months of daily use being the issue. The button won't click and the light doesn't come on. Will try and look for the fuse wire someone else removed to see if that'll work. Will be purchasing a microwave sterolizer!

Not working after few days
Got this product as a gift and it stopped working after a few weeks then it was replaced then it stopped working after a few days then it was replaced THEN IT STOPPED WORKING AGAIN AFTER 2 DAYS.

Very Disappointing Performance
The sterilizer worked for almost 3 months and then stopped all of a sudden. We have been taking good care of the unit and despite of that it broke down!!!!

Very disappointed with this sterilizer
I am a big fans of Avent's products, but not this sterilizer. This is my second purchased, the first one did not working suddenly. And the second one had a leaking problem, water comes out form the base to countertop and it did not work suddenly also. I purchased two sterliziers within a year and I taking a good care of those. I feel so disappointed with this sterilizer and will never buy it again

Doesnt last long.
Mine broke after 2 years using it. Not even 2 year straight. Bought it for my first son but i didnt end up using it cuz i breastfed my 1st son for 15 months. And for my 2nd son i used it for few months and wouldnt work.
I found it old way of just boiling actually cleans it better as this one leaves stains on the stuff after sterilized stuffs are dried.

Not worth the money
The sterilizer leaks every single time I use it despite I use same or less water as it is recommended. The leak happens after steaming and the water starts concentrating. Very disappointed. I ended up throw this in the corner and bought newer model including dryer. It is obviously a design flaws as you can see the improvement in the newer model.

Very easy
This sterilizer is very easy to use and incredibly efficient. I wash ,y bottles as I use them and put them in the sterilizer until I have a few in there and I put it on. It is fast and efficient. The only thing I don't like it that if you bump it when the water is in the bottom it splashes out of the water holder.
