Can't find another one like it
We returned 3 other types of monitors before getting this one. We wanted a 2 way monitor that provided continuous sound from our child's room. All the other 2 ways we tried only starting transmitting once there was sound from our child's room. The problem was, often the first sound was missed meaning our son would call out to us and we wouldn't hear it. Only if he called out again shortly after would it transmit to us. I thought what we were looking for didn't exist in a 2 way monitor until we found this.
