Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product, but an absurd amount of packaging I really like using this product as it offers as close to a shave as you can get without the irritation of actually shaving. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the absurd amount of plastic packaging the replacement blades come in. See the photo, it's absolutely ridiculous that that much plastic is going to end up sitting in a landfill for the next thousand years. Many other companies are starting to ditch the outer plastic altogether in favour of a cardboard sleeve and just keep the tiny plastic packaging around the head for health and safety purposes. Perhaps this is something to consider?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great trimmer and razor Philips gave me this product to review and I must say I like it very much. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and this is goign to be my razor and trimmer from now on. The first thing I noticed is the "strength" of it. It won't get stuck or pinch the harder hairs, which is nice. The different spacers were a cool feature, as I like my beard to keep some length. The battery seems to be good at keeping its charge too. Only downside I could think of was that with the "strength" of it, sometimes little hairs tend to fly everywhere instead of falling right down. It's no big deal though. Overall I would recommend it for your shaving needs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Classic case of one product trying to do too much Good for trimming beard but not shaving or edging, size of the blade face is too small, it gets stuck on beard hairs and you have to constantly stop and take the guard off to tap it out. This is a product that should be marketed as a beard trimmer and nothing else. I was hoping this product could do all that it said it would so that I could replace my shaving razor, beard trimmer and styler. I have had a full beard for 13 years, I have owned much better beard trimmers that didn’t require expensive blade replacements every few months. It does not do ALL it says it can, for this reason I would not recommend. Very, very disappointing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Jobs I Could Have Had When I was growing up most jobs you would had to be shaved each day. I was very limited to what I could get in part of not being able to shave everyday. The rash, bleeding and so sore. I tried almost everything I could afford. When I saw the One Blade, I thought there’s another one. It wasn’t for some time later I decided to try it and WOW!! I would never have thought of shaving 10 mins before having to go. I can now shave everyday with no pain or redness. I really wonder how my life would have turned out if I could have shaved everyday. Within the first month I bought my father one too. We both just love it... thank you Philips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice product. Easy to use. Philips gave me this product to review, and I will admit, it is better than I thought. I primarily use the OneBlade with the 5mm comb to leave a little stubble, but I find I have to make multiple passes to get my beard to the correct length. I use the edger to neaten up the edges and it does an okay job. I like the ease of use of the product and love that it's not at all bulky to hold. I have used it 3 times so far and haven't needed to recharge it yet. It works better than any other razor of its type, but I find it still doesn't give you a real close shave. I still have to use a regular razor to neaten up my neck. Overall, happy with the product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst shaver I have ever used This is a terrible product. It is of the simplest of design mechanically, so kudos for ingenuity. But, the operation of it is very uncomfortable. It cant be used in a hurry and if not taking painstaking slow movements, it skips over stubble and leaves unshaved hair behind. It is also not very well balanced in your hand, while shaving there is always an awkward feel of pushing the blade around. Natural shaving motions of blade do not result in an efficient shave at all. I don't know why they would call this a pro device, a pro barber, would never use such a cheap, flimsy gimmicky device like this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not terribly great on coarse hair. Philips gave me this product to review and it delivered. I have very thick stubble which it was able to cut through, however it took longer than my usual trimmer does by about half the time. I would not suggest it for people like myself with heavy thick coarse facial hair but for somebodg who's beard and facial hair is fairly light I'm sure it would work great. Overall, 3 stars.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Replacement parts expensive and cheap I have been using the oneblade for about 3 years now and I will be stopping. The shaving itself is fine, but the combs are poorly designed, break easily and replacements combs are just about as expensive as buying a whole new set of oneblade with all the combs. I have bought original replacements combs and knock offs and neither stay on the blade properly or break within a few uses. Then, when the comb comes off while shaving, it shaves the area you were just trying to trim, so you have to shave entirely to eliminate the shaving mark.
