Love this product!
The Satinelle is fantastic! I love that I can use it in the comfort of my own home and don't need to make an appointment days or weeks in advance of when I'm looking to remove unwanted hair. At first it feels a little prickly, but after about 10 seconds, you become used to it and the results are seriously fantastic. Plus, I didn't need to use it again for about three weeks.
Buy this product!! A must!

Phillips gave me the opportunity to try the Phillips shaver and after trying it for a few weeks I can say I would highly recommend this product. It is easy to use, great design, leaves skin so smooth! You can use it anywhere you would normally shave (legs, under arms, arms, face,etc) and can use either wet or dry. Cuts out daily shaving routine and less painful then waxing. It has two speeds, lights up on your skin to easily see what you're doing. Includes multiple attachments, cleaning brush, charging cord, and little bag to keep it in. It is cordless so can grab and go would also be great for traveling.

Breaks the hair
This epilator is breaking the hair and unfortunately I ended up having ingrown hair after 2 usage. :(

Sleek and beautiful
I received the Philips Satinelle Advanced epilator to review and I love how beautiful the epilator is. A great feature that I like about the epilator is the guide light. It really helps shine a light on missed areas. This is actually my second epilator so it took some time to get used to this one. One of the biggest differences I saw was that the Philips epilator heads come pre-contoured. It took some getting used to since the pre-contouring made it difficult to get into some areas. Otherwise, it is a beautiful, sleek design and handles easily.

A Great Epilator!
I received the Philips Satinelle Advanced epilator to review and I think it's great! I've been using an epilator for the past 10 years and it's nice to see that it has been designed better and is much easier to use. Going cordless and having a long lasting battery definitely makes a huge difference -I no longer have to untangle the ac adaptor cord from the epilator! The various attachments are easy to use and it allows you to quickly switch between epilating and shaving/trimming depending on the body area that you are removing hair from. The built-in light is also handy, but I would have preferred if it were a little bit bigger.
Overall, I think this is a great product and I would definitely recommend it!

Everything you would want in an epilator and MORE!
Philips gave me the opportunity to try the Philips Shaver and I was very impressed! The slim design fit perfectly in my hand for maneuvering around especially when it came to the knees and underarm area. The different accessories also offer some options for users who may have more sensitivity when it comes to epilating. I was curious to try the massaging and the stretching attachments together but unfortunately you can only use one at a time. The unit was effortless to charge and works well in wet and dry situations. I did find in some areas with shorter hair I had to go over the spot a few times before the machine would get it. This was my first time using a cordless epilator and I will not be going back!

HUGE disappointment
a HUGE disappointment
I bought a Phillips Satinelle epilator 25 years ago (yep, you read that right! 1/4 century ago) and it stopped working recently. How I wished I would have tried to get it repaired instead of buying the current version. Just like baseball, I have a 3-strike rule and I tried diligently, using various speeds, to like this thing, which as you know is highly rated. To put it simply, it just didn't work. There were points at which I would have to go over and over one leg hair to try and get it to catch and it wouldn't. I recognize fully I am in the minority and perhaps it's in large part due to the fact that I used my other one faithfully for many years and it never let me down. Not sure, but this thing went back. Very disappointing. How I wish I would have hung onto the old one and tried to get it fixed!

Not effective
I returned the Philips epilator because it was not effective at removing hair. I had been using a Braun epilator for at least 7 years, and had been satisfied with the ease of use, and effectiveness of the unit. I needed to replace the epilator head, so instead decided to get a new epilator. I purchased the Philips and was very surprised and disappointed that it was not effective at removing hair.
