The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me!
I live in an area where a sunny morning can be in short-supply for almost half the year. My mornings have dramatically improved. I function better and have more energy during the day. The tap-snooze removes the sound but doesn't turn off the light, which is excellent-- I can't turn it off by accident! The numbers dim at night, removing that red glare most alarm clocks put off. Two different alarms means not having to toggle a work alarm constantly. The symbols are crystal-clear and easy to navigate.
Definitely suggesting it to everyone I know!

My first morning being woken gently
I could sense the light growing, coming out of a sleepy fog, then the music I chose began to play so softly.
Definitely a delight and far more peaceful than some screaming noise in your ears shocking you awake.
I'm up earlier than I usually am and my goal is to train my body to wake earlier and earlier every day.
Thank you Phillips. This is a god-send for me.

Good While it Lasted
I loved the light while it worked. It made getting up on dark winter mornings easier and I also noticed it helped improve my mood. The sunrise light that gradually brightens the room has stopped working. That is the whole point of the product for me so without that it is now useless to me. I found the light expensive to begin with but now that the light had stopped working after 2 1/2 years it was definitely a lot to pay for such a short period of time. Having read other similar reviews of the product malfunctioning after a short period of time I am not willing to risk spending that amount of money again especially as there are other companies selling similar products for much less. Even if they stop working after 2 years I'll still be ahead of the game moneywise.

Really makes it easier!
I recommend this product for anyone who needs to wake up early. Waking-up with this product feels much more natural than an alarm clock and by the time the light is on full I'm always ready to get out of bed. I've never felt the need to hit snooze in my 2-months with this product.

Very gentle wake-up!
This is a great product; provides a very gentle wake-up. The only drawback is the control system... it is not intuitive nor easy to manage. Having said this, the gentle wake-up that this product provides is well worth the irritation of the control system.

Outstanding Product
Really helps to get up easily in the morning before the sun. And the wake up is gentle, usually just the light is enough to start waking you - and its easy to get up before the alarm goes.
The "alarm" is zen music and birds, so it doesn't jar you awake.

Light stopped working with no explanation.
I purchased the lamp in Jan 2020 and it stopped working in August 2023. The lamp in my living room has been working since 1992, and the clock radio in my room has been working since 1993. I expected a longer life from this device.

Great Lamp, horrible cord.
I really enjoyed the lamp while it lasted, so much that I bought my daughter one too. I plugged it in when I got it and then just a couple of months later it quit working. I kept it to try to get someone to fix it. I finally checked with my daughter’s cord and it worked, so it is the cord that just went. It wasn’t like I was moving it from place to place or anything. Too expensive a light for a cheap cord, and I am having trouble replacing it.

This product is interesting
I bought this because I'm not a morning person and I hate regular clock alarms.
The light does wake me up and I find the sounds are more agreeable than a regular beep alarm.
I like the design, the product is neat . The problem is the physical buttons.... they're not well placed. They're not intuitive, maybe a tactile bump will make more easy to locate and use the light button. Also, I dont like that every day I have to turn on the alarm.

Excellent, but...
The only downfall of this product is that the light needs to get brighter. I'm very sensitive to light yet this bulb doesn't quite make me feel like waking up. It takes a couple of hits of the snooze feature to let the light filter into my closed eyes. So it's okay eventually, but the light itself needs to be bigger and or brighter to achieve this. Besides this I really love this alarm clock!

Very sad that it stopped working...
I do believe this lamp made waking up much easier. The quality of the light and sound is pretty good.
Unfortunately, it stopped working just after two and a half years (it started with problems with the buttons not responding well... now it just won't go on).
Considering the price of this wake-up light... it should last longer.

Great overall
This is the 2nd time I've purchased one. The first one "died" after using it about 8 years, which I consider great. So far this new one is working just as good; I love waking up with light in the room. It helps me wake up much easier. When the room is just dark and a regular alarm goes off, it takes me much longer to get up.

Exceeded expectations
Bought this unit to replace my HF3570. It's started to lose its mind after years of service.
This one was larger than I thought it would be from the pictures. Controls are easy to use and accurate. Quality matches previous experience with Philips wake up light. Very satisfied. Wow definitely recommend.

Worked amazingly until it decided to stop...
Well, I loved this lamp/alarm up until now. But it stopped working now. First the lamp would go off when I would turn on the radio. Now nothing works. I am considering buying a similar device but not one made by Phillips which I have now read .... this issue seems to be a fairly common one.

Best alarm clock for a great lifestyle
I am not a morning person, but waking up with this alarm clock makes getting out of bed just a little bit easier! It's easy to use, works beautifully, and also functions as an excellent bedside lamp! The sounds are great and I love how customizable it is. A great buy!

I love everything about this product. I love the sound option of the birds, and that their is a radio. However it pretty big and takes up space on my night stand. For the price I paid I can’t complain it was a deal.

Simply the best alarm we have ever owned!
This alarm has some super design to it, it not only looks good sat on the beside table, its light and timing functions are great too. It is easy and simple to set up without too much bother.
We used the sound function once in conjunction with the wake up light, but we have found there was no real need, as the light itself does an excellent job in waking us up. Wake up is now to a pleasant daylight rather than our old alarms that would wake us abruptly and suddenly....our days are off to a much more serene and happy start!
Night time is just as wonderful! With the ability to opt for the duration for dimming, it is a perfectly dreamy way to fall asleep.
Our days start very early and quickly and so the light remains on until we leave the house - it could be useful to have a small raised bump on the light switch itself so you could find it easily, as there are three buttons all sat next to each other - it's still relatively new so I am sure we will get to find it intuitively, however it would be a helpful feature.
Our only real regret.... we wished we had purchased one a long time ago!

Absolutely love it
This wake up light has been such a game changer in my life! I've been using it over 2 years now without issue. I like the sunset feature alot, use it every night. But the biggest thing is it's function as an alarm clock. It's a night and day difference (pun intended) going from old fashioned alarm clock shocking you awake to this sunrise effect naturally and gently preparing your body to wake up. Sometimes the light wakes me up before the sound comes on, but I usually need the sound. Seriously tho, waking up to a lit up room is so amazing. I love this thing. It's not perfect, the buttons are a little tricky to find at times, and with such a small base it can be easy to knock over, but these are minor inconveniences in my opinion, in light of its function and execution. Its worked flawlessly.
It also was very useful when we had our last baby who's crib was in our room for a couple months. We just left the light on its lowest setting all night, so mom had a gentle light for feeding at night. It goes very dim before going out.
Having a dedicated alarm clock has also had other positive effects on my life. It replaced my phone as my alarm clock so my wife and I charge our phones in the kitchen overnight and we don't have to have those soul sucking gadgets at our bedside just begging us to scroll mindlessly for hours every night. Sooo glad to be rid of that. In summary, better your marriage and get a wake up light!
