Dentist level cleaning, great for travel.
Does an excellent job cleaning your mouth. I've been using my Diamondclean for three years and still remark how clean my mouth feels after brushing. Dentists can always tell I've been using a quality electric brush when I come in for cleanings, and less time is required for scaling and polishing as a result. The battery life is fantastic and the case charger works perfectly. I've taken mine everywhere from remote work locations in Northern Canada to holidays in Europe and Central America and never had a problem or even needed to charge it while away. Easily get two weeks off a charge. Highly recommended this brush. It looks great too, well designed.

Prone to breaking down - Can't recommend
I have owned two of these. The first one stopped charging shortly after going off warranty and, because they aren't serviceable, I purchased a new one. Within a year the second one started acting 'crazy'. It would turn on and off by itself while sitting on the counter, would start cycling through the modes by itself and then turn off while brushing, and would often not turn on at all when the button was pushed. Eventually it also stopped charging, like the first one. Although I think the product does an excellent job when working properly (probably the best of any brush I've owned), I honestly can't recommend it due to the issues it has with breaking down within an unreasonably short time frame. The very high cost of consumables (brush tips) is also a sore point, but if you brush properly by touching the bristles 'very' lightly to the teeth and letting the vibration do the work, I find a brush head will last 4-6 months before needing to be replaced.

Works well until it doesn’t
I have used Sonicare toothbrushes since they first arrived on the market. They clean well, they are easy to use ans clean, and they really do remove plaque. My periodontist always comments how great my teeth and gums are. However they don’t last much past their warranty. I buy a new one every 2.5 years on average. For such an expensive product you’d think it would function longer. Either it just quits or the head becomes wobbly or here is some malfunction that renders it useless. Too bad because they’re tops at cleaning, but not for that long.

Stopped working after 2.5 years
Worked fine in the first year. In the 2nd year, I had a few issues with the power button in that it needed to be pushed several times to turn on. At 2.5 years it would not turn on and would not charge. Unfortunately, that is 6 months after the warranty expired. When it did work, it did a good job cleaning my teeth. I think there is a design flaw as the toothpaste runs down from the toothbrush head to the power button. After a few years of toothpaste buildup, I suspect the power button shorts out. I've read other people have tried soaking the toothbrush to loosen a buildup of toothpaste under the power button. You'd think paying over a hundred dollars for a toothbrush would mean they'd have designed it to avoid this problem. I may try buying one more and if I have the same issue, I'm done with Sonicare.

Quality issues
This is my third Sonicare toothbrush that has stopped working properly. Replaced twice but this last time can't find the bill and can't replace after less than a year but oh well that is my fault. The point is really that they always break.
Time to go to something else

Great product
Great product, easy to use. I especially like the 30 second feature to bush in the four quadrants. The only down side is the difficulty that I had in identifying the brush head types and uses for each. The enclosed direction sheet needs to be clearer.

Need a better option for selecting what setting you want to use.
The toothbrush works great. The only issue i have is that i find it difficult to select the setting i want to use. This could be better designed.

I never had such a clean feeling using a toothbrush!
Great product! I'm amazed how clean my teeth feel after using this brush. I used cheaper electric brushes before and manual brushes and nothing comes close to how clean my teeth feel. So far so good. The only issue I have is to select the brushing mode; it's not so easy to do with the brush already in your mouth; you can't select the mode before you put it in your mouth or it will spray your toothpaste all over the place. Other than that it works great!
