Brewing Instructions: Pour 8 fluid ounces 200 ml of boiling water over 1 tsp of loose tea and steep infuse for 2-3 minutes

I wasnt sure that i would like having tea this way i thought that maybe the stuff you put in the glass would float and go in my mouth and it didnt i found it was like they were not even in the cup. I even tried using a tea infuser and it was just as good a nice flavo9ur you could really taste the green tea, I really like this but i am not sur eif i would buy this one. I perfer my tea in a bag but it was great trying it. I will contniue to use it till its gone who knows maybe i will aquire a tatse for tea this way and buy more.

The Pure Leaf Gunpowder Green Tea Loose Long Leaf is what I've come to expect from a high quality tea. The brew was not bitter, and it was a very pleasing experience overall. I am glad that it lists that it is from a single source, as this enhances the quality. The only suggestion I could make is that it should come with a strainer, but I suppose if you're purchasing loose leaf tea you would have one already. Overall an excellent quality tea.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I LOVE my green tea's, and this was the first time I have ever tried loose tea like this before. Pure leaf gunpowder green tea is a great tasting tea, It was smooth and had no bitterness to it at all. I used it the first time without a tea infuser and thought I would end up with floating tea leafs but i did not, they stayed at the bottom and didn't end up in my mouth :) I enjoyed my first cup so I went out and purchased a tea infuser for this specific tea and am 100% satisfied with Pure Leaf Gunpowder Green Tea Loose Long Leaf. I will definitely be buying more before I run out!!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Thank you Chick Advisor for the opportunity to try Pure Leaf Gunpowder Green Tea Loose Long Leaf Tea. I was sceptical following the directions to make a cup as it didn't seem like much tea going into my infuser. Buy boy was I wrong after a few minutes and smelling the lovely green tea aroma I couldn't believe how such long leaves unfurled and filled my infuser. This green tea was not bitter like some....it was filled with so much flavor and a nice aroma. What I love is that such a little truly goes along way. Aside from making a hot tea it will be nice to make it into a cool green tea drink to stay hydrated in the warmer months.

The tea is loose leaf and therefore less packaging and less impact on our environment.. My first cup of tea i did not follow instruction and just filled up my tea container. Boy that tea was strong!!!!! The next cup i put in the right amount stated on the bottle instructions. I let the tea steep for the time that was suggested and 3 mins was just right as this tea is stronger then the Pure leaf Green tea with Jasmine. I liked this tea and possibly might purchase in the future. Thank you so much for this opportunity to try before I buy. :)

I was a little freaked out with gunpowder being part of the name... Not that I thought they used actual gunpowder in the tea.. I'm not that gullible, but I was expecting something really strong.. it was the complete opposite though. I dont think it had much of a taste, to me it just tasted like hot water and that was after it steeping for about 10 minutes. It did however, leave a weird aftertaste. It wasn't a horrible tea, but I have definitely had better. I would recommend this to people who aren't really tea drinkers. Thank you ChickAdvisor and Pure Leaf for sending me this for review.

The value of this tea is great. It is made with visibly high-quality leaves, and you can taste that, too. Green tea is so healthy, and this makes being healthy really enjoyable. I was so pumped to get this in the mail for free in exchange for my honest opinion, and while the other one I received was not up to my expectations, I loved the touch of smoky flavor that is typical of gunpowder green, but in this one, it is much more subtle and pleasant than usual. definitely would buy!

My first impression of this tea was that it was of high quality and the taste did not disappoint. It has a very fresh, rich flavour and it is not bitter. Do not over steep, and be sure to use water that is just under a boil. Also, don't leave it sitting too long as it will develop a bitter taste even after steeping if you take too long to consume. It's delicious as is, but I enjoy adding a little bit of honey. I look forward to purchasing this green tea in the future, it's a great value and quality. I highly recommend you give this tea a try.
