When I first put the on they were tight. I knew they were real leather and they would stretch. I thought I would get one or two blisters but nothing!! they stretched out to a perfect fit only after a few hours. Remember to spray a little water on them to help the stretching. So far, I've done tons of walking a hike (through streams) and went to an outdoor concert in the pouring rain and these babies have treated me so well thus far!! :)
