One solid mass, not useable
The product I received was literally a puck of solid jelly. I tried to mix it, warm it in my hands, and add water, but it just broke into clumps that didn’t even stick to my hair. I love Shea moisture products but this one seems like a bad formulation despite great online reviews.

Not for me
The product came in good shape, the consistency of jell-o that hasn't quite set. It's very light and moisturizing but I found that the gel stays kind of sticky and doesn't really dry in my hair. Might be good for type 4 hair but tends to just make my type 2 hair more tangled and wild and can't really be fixed after sleeping on it.
