I was disappointed that this bottle is not leak-proof. My son placed it tilted in his backpack and everything ended up wet. He likes it and the volume is just right but the bottle has to stay upright to prevent leakage. The good thing about this bottle is that the strap is washable (silicone) so unlike the straw bottle (canvass strap) I can wash the bottle without removing the strap.
