I guess this shampoo is a great prep for the Surya henna colouring but I am not a fan. I have relaxed African hair and I find my hair feels dry after using this shampoo. However, I follow up with Surya’s restorative hair mask conditioner which adds back the silky shine to my hair.

I love the colours and how easy to use it is. No mess, no hugely long waits, no smells, no headache or irritated eyes afterwards (for me anyway). I use it once a month or so; colour changes as time goes by but coverage tends to stay well above average compared to other products I have used in the past.
