Rated 1 out of 5 by Anon from Iâm very disappointed with this lid, especially after being so excited that it was finally available in Canada. After one week of usage, one side of where the cover for the opening is attached to melted from my hot tea. Now the cover isnât securely attached to the lid and liquid seeps out when the bottle is jostled around. Meaning that I canât put it in my bag without worrying that itâll spill. This seems like a design/material flaw when you can assume this is a bottle used for hot and cold beverages. I love Sâwell products usually, but this lid is poorly made.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kkacz from Leaks! This lid does not fit properly and everytime I take a drink from my swell mug coffee pours all over me! I do not recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Linda from Bought two of these to use with our S'well bottles & they did not disappoint. Unlike other reviewers, we have not experienced leakage (made sure to screw the lid on tight enough & that the snap part is also secured). Removed one star because your nose will touch the lid when drinking which may or may not bother you. Have used with both hot & cold drinks without any problems. We like them a lot.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sandra from The screw on design is excellent however the thin plastic top is there the heat escapes and my coffee doesn't stay hot. Also the flip doesn't have a tight enough seal. No one wants to carry around 2 lids so the travel mug version needs to get redesigned. The mug itself is amazing and indestructible. Wish my coffee stayed hot longer using this lid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Louiza from This is what I was looking for for my commuter bottle, it makes it so much more practical. I give 4 stars because the little cap on the lid that closes the small opening does not seem to have been engineered properly. You see, it does not pop closed in the sense were when I close it i am never sure if it is properly closed of not.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ruby from I was super excited for a commuter lid because I love the wide mouth bottle for cold water. This lid is not expected to be leak proof, but I find it does not have a tight seal at all and any angle will allow for leakage. I've experience quite a few accidents in the past month. lucky, it's just water.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Heather from The lid is good, seals well and does what it says. The only thing I don't like is how shallow it is. It's hard to explain, but your nose will be squished against the lid when you take a sip of something, and I've got a very small nose so it could be even more annoying for other people.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Heather from Much more convenient for drinking in the car as I can hold the bottle and open the lid with one hand. Still good insulation but not as good as the original lid. So I would swap them out if I had to leave my child drink in the car on a hot day. I've only used it for cold so far.
