I really like this product as I often get thirsty while driving and this makes it so much easier since you only need one hand. I find I use my Swell much more often with this cap. The only bad thing is there is nothing protecting it from germs and dirt. I noticed after I had sprayed bug spray nearby and then went to take a drink and it tasted awful. Now that IâÂÂm more aware IâÂÂm more careful about keeping it clean. Might concern someone planning to buy it for their kids bottles as they tend to leave them upside down in their backpacks or lying in the grass. Which is why IâÂÂve decided not to get one for mine.

Blue rubber washer falls out and leaks all water in bag
This item will end up costing you more than its inflated cost, simply because of the flawed design. The tilt open feature is very hard to open and close; you pretty much need to use two hands. The blue rubber washer falls out and is VERY difficult to get back in. When it does fall out be prepared for all the bottle's liquid to pour out over anything it may be in or beside. It ruined all my textbooks. NOT happy and would like my money back.

I really wanted to love this cap, but it's not what I expected. My daughter and I both often have water leak on us while trying to take a sip. It is easier than the cap that comes with the bottle, but I don't like having to touch it so much. I also found my water didn't stay cold as long.

Disappointed
I always seem to get disappointed when trying to do something good for the environment and ends up being and expensive waste! Lost my regular cap and thought I'd replace it instead of buying a whole new bottle
The cap is super finicky on my 500 mL bottle, you have to put it on just so in order for it to screw in place and it never seems to go fully in place. Then once its on it leaks not from the top but from it not sealing proper to the bottle.
The sport cap part works well - I bought this over a regular cap but seems useless since it doesn't fit properly!

Water leak on me while I drink. The flip thing inside the cap falls off if you drop the bottle. The cap opens sometimes in my bag spilling all the water. Not what I expected.

So far no leakage as read from other reviews. However, I did notice the cap almost seems like there is 3 positions rather than 2 (open/close). I can see someone mistakenly not close the cap all the way which would cause leakage. Due to the type of cap it is, I can see that insulation may be lost if that is a concern.

I have these for all my bottles
I love these! They don't leak and work great on the go or in the gym. I have dropped my bottle with this lid on and the centre black piece popped out and I thought I broke it, but it pops right back in and still works great. I also have the lids for the 750mL bottle.

Works really well! I did a experiment with two identical bottles but one had the sport cap. They both seemed to keep the water equally cold during the four hour period.
