IâÂÂm so disappointed. I love my swell water bottle and bought the tumbler to use as a mug at home, knowing it came without the lid. I decided to order the lid just in case I wanted to take my little cup to go. The lid does NOT sit flush, and about 70% of the time one side pops completely up. I have no idea why itâÂÂs doing this or how to fix it, but I would not purchase the lid or another tumbler again. I have the traveler and will stick with that one when leaving the house with coffee.

I was looking forward to getting the S'well coffee Tumblers and I am very happy with those, but the Tumbler lid needs major re-work. It does not seal and stay on well risking a hot coffee spill; this could be fixed if it were to screw on. Also and most disappointingly, is the open drinking hole that does not have a plug and again risk of a hot coffee spill and splash; this could be fixed with a flip back open / close for the spout maybe a switch on the rim of the lid for easy one-handed access. Fix these two major setbacks and you would have an outstanding lid for the Tumbler. Charge $20. With these fixes, my wife would buy 5 of these Tumblers / lid combos. Easy homerun product with big profit margins. Fix this!

This lid does provide a proper seal and fits well. However, the hole to drink out of and the back air hole aren't that well designed. There isn't enough air that is let out when you drink from it, so you either have to sip a little bit or you get a bunch of liquid at a time, which isn't desirable when you have hot liquids as it is obviously hot and you either get too little or it may spill out too much.

First negative review on Well.ca. Received as a gift - super excited as I assumed would be good quality. This lid is a joke. Why would you have a to-go cup lid that you cannot close !?!? Already spilled my beverage and itâÂÂs super awkward to drink out of. My mom who bought it never read the reviews and didnâÂÂt realize the lid was sold separately - also very weird. Save your money and buy a Yeti.

I have found that the lid does not appear to seal securely to the mug causing me to have to be very careful with the travel mug and therefore defeating the purpose of a travel mug. We use these mugs and lids for our morning smoothies and where a straw seem to work well through the spout. Overall, I was disappointed as I do love my Swell bottles and was really looking forward to the travel mug.

Love the tumbler and the idea of this lid. Unfortunately the lid does not fit securely on the tumbler, causing leaks and spills while drinking. Disappointed :(

First of all, I've never heard of a travel mug that doesn't come with a lid. I think it's silly that you need to purchase this separately. That being sad, I'd expect that this lid would be great however it fits poorly and doesn't even close, so it's easy to spill. I've only had this for 2 weeks, but the lid no longer even stays on (it keeps popping off). Very disappointed in this product.

This is quite an expensive lid that does not close and is not leak proof like products from Thermos. It should be included in the price of the tumbler given the high cost. I did find it perfect for sipping, however, and it does help to prevent your beverage from splashing if your tumbler is full.
