Description
When Thinksport first introduced their bottle 10+ years ago, most
reusable bottles were made of polycarbonate material, which leaches
Bisphenol-A (BPA). More recently, it has been shown that aluminum
bottles with epoxy liners also leach this harmful chemical. So the
Thinksport team set out to find a safe material that adhered to their
strict chemical policy. All Thinksport bottles are made of 18/8
medical- grade stainless steel.

Good, but lid leash broke
My son uses this water bottle for school, and really likes the small opening for drinking out of, and the large one for refilling with water. The plastic leash that holds the small top cap (so that it does not get lost when unscrewed) broke within a few months however. He still uses it, but it does not look like a replacement can be purchased, and now he needs to be more careful when using it, so he does not lose the small cap when drinking ( he is 7 years old). The bottle is holding up well in terms of dents, I am sure it gets dropped, and still can stand level and is not dented, unlike other metal bottles we have used.

Excellent, long lasting bottle
I bought this water bottle in 2018 and it has been used constantly ever since. (It’s now 2023)
I am picky and I’m hard on things so this bottle must be good because I use it all the time. I also have a swell water bottle and prefer this one. Some reasons I love it are:
a) the lid has a tether, you won’t lose the lid and it can be tethered onto the outside of your bag easier when travelling.
B) the size and shape fit into backpack bottle sleeves and most cup holders, it doesn’t have a huge capacity but it is easier to tote around than my larger bottle.
C) the finish is more durable, my swell is newer, gets used less and the finish is much more scratched up than this one. It will show wear but mostly on the bottom. I have not been gentle with it.
D) It cleans easy because of the wider mouth opening and it is easy to get most ice cubes into the bottle.
E) keeps my water cold for a while, even on a hot tropical trip
my ice water would be cold after a few hours out and about in the sun.
F)the colour is bright enough and stand out that if I have left it somewhere it is very easy to spot and this has saved me from leaving it behind on multiple occasions.
G) It doesn’t make my water taste weird. I have had water bottles that have a weird taste to them before and it grosses me out. This one doesn’t have that issue.
The only thing I don’t love is the logo, it would be prettier if it was plain but I honestly don’t notice it anymore.
I only bought this to match my mint coloured monbento lunch set (it’s a pretty close match) but I find I use it way more than I planned and not just for lunches because it’s awesome.
