Unlike other reviewers, I like both the taste and texture of this pasta, and I only add a bit of oil and vegetables. It is a bit of a "thick" texture and does taste like beans, but if you like beans you should like this pasta, although don't expect it to taste like regular pasta! However, it is true that with only this pasta, I can see most people not liking it. The way I love to eat it is mixing one package of bean pasta with one package of grain-based pasta (I use rice or spelt pasta). That way you still have the comfort food feeling from pasta, but with the added protein and health benefits from the beans. I like it better than the regular pasta alone.
