Features
U-Konserve stainless steel leak-proof insulated food jars keep food hot
or cold for hours! Pack soup or chili in the morning, and lunch will be
steaming when you are ready to eat. Pack smoothies, pasta salad or
yogurt and it stays cool until lunchtime.
Insulated food
jars are designed to keep the temperature you start with, so it is
recommended to pre-heat by pouring very hot water inside and letting sit
for a few minutes before pouring out and adding your piping hot food,
and pre-chilling in the freezer for a few minutes (lid off) before
adding your cold food. U-Konserve food jars keep pre-heated food hot up
to 5 hours, and pre-chilled food cold up to 8 hours (and often longer
depending on the starting temperature and outside temperature).

Advertised incorrectly, large sticker on front left a big mark
After researching insulated jars, I settled on this one as the well.ca website says it is dishwasher safe, top rack. Upon receiving the jar, it states "hand wash" it says nothing about being dishwasher safe in any capacity. I purchased it specifically because it was dishwasher safe. Also, the jar comes with a large sticker on the front of it that is difficult to peel off. It left a large glue mark that does not wash off. It looks like the stainless steel has been damaged by the glue. Things to be aware of if considering this jar.
