Scent change was totally unnecessary.
I've used the Dry Skin Repair lotion for years and had to purchase more as I had run out recently only to discover that the scent has changed. The lotion itself doesn't seem to have changed much but the scent is repulsive; it starts to smell like cheesy feet after a few minutes. Disappointed that I'll have to look for a new lotion, I thought this one was the perfect one for me.

Best hand & body lotion out there!
Bought this cream a few months back and now it's my go-to cream for hands and body. Even bought a small version to keep at my desk at work during the dry winter months (and summer too!) The scent is so light and lovely I can't wait to put it on! For a super hydrating cream, it absorbs in an instant - no leftover residue whatsoever! Can't recommend enough.

I hate the new smart pump, too.
Like so many others, I think it is insane that the only way to open the new smart pump is with lineman pliers. Everyone would be so much happier if you'd just go back to the old top that one can screw off with their hands. I really like vaseline lotions overall, but I'm tempted to never buy them again because of the so-called "smart" pump.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My skin gets very dry from work. I applied this 2 - 3 times a day for 2 weeks, but did not notice much of an improvement over that time. The lotion smells pleasant and spreads very well. It made my hands feel soft immediately, but it didn't last. It also didn't soak in as quickly as i would have liked. Vaseline is a great brand, but their intensive care dry skin repair lotion is not for me. I very quickly and happily moved on to better lotions for treating my dry skin.

this stuff really works
my only minor gripe is the perfume smell which is very strong, i wish it were odorless but more importantly this stuff really mosturizes my scaly, crusty feet which can become so dry they crack and become sore. After a few applications of this stuff my feet feel and look fine so thank you and keep up the good work

The smart pump is not smart!
I like the product but the new smart pump is not good. There has always been product left over and I could open the bottle and get it out. Now I can't. The smart pump locks it in. I have about an inch of product left that I can't get to. And how can I recycle it if I can't rinse it out?

Strongly scented

Great value

I have fairly sensitive skin and had no reactions whatsoever. Even better, the product worked! I typically use body butter and wasn't noticing any improvement- but the Vaseline Dry Skin Lotion worked beyond my wildest dreams! My skin is so smooth and soft!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have actually always loved vaseline products. I find they are light, work great for dry skin and aren't sticky. They absorb pretty quickly and are very effective. Also reasonably priced, I find the intensive dry skin lotion is great during winter months when my skin gets super dry and even during summer after getting a tan or sunburn, it is great to keep your skin moisturized and hydrated to help not peel! Overall, i would recommend it.

Cannot open the lid
I have been a loyal customer for two decades. I don't like to waste. Now I am wasting around 30% due to the new stupid design. I am switching to other brands which still allow opening the lid to reach the lotion. Either make sure the smart design can pump out most of the lotion or make it possible to open the lid. I wonder who ever designed this ever used it. Most probably received accolades for the stupidest design ever. I gave a 2 star rating instead of 5 star due to this bad design.

I have dry skin which really gets me down, I like nice soft skin so when I bought Vaseline Intensive Care Dry Skin Repair Lotion and gave it a try (because ya'll know I've got nothing to lose) I was so amazed with how soft my skin was becoming :) it literally does repair dry skin and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy either, I am definitely going to keep buying this product and will definitely always recommend it!

Works great!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) As a stay at home mom im constantly cleaning with household cleaners and doing many many dishes which in turn make my hands super dry. Ive been using this lotion for a few days and I can already feel the difference. It is a bit thick but its probably supposed to be that way in order for it to work the way it says it does. And it definitely does. I will keep using this lotion and hoping for long lasting results!

It stinks now!
I have used this lotion for years! It's always light, non-greasy and unscented. What happened? I bought a bottle today and started using it after my shower. It has a putrid scent now! Why?? That's one of the reasons I have always purchased it... no scent. I'm going to return it and look for a new product. You have ruined a great product.

It gives a deep moisture and leaves your skin feeling soft and silky. I'm no longer worried about my dry skin and feel comfortable wearing short sleeve shirts and shorts and Skirts. A little bit goes a long way and you don't have to use too much of this product for it to have a great effect. It's something that can be used on a daily basis and really helped my skin become more smooth in the rough winter months.

It Has Controversial Parabens
I have chronic dry skin and this is only product that kept my skin from scaling and dryness. However, product contains a number of parabens which are suspected to be unsafe. So I was sorry to have to stop using this item.
Please make it paraben-free. I understand parabens are for preservation and not for moisture so dropping them from formula and using a safe preservative I would think will not impact effectiveness...?

It provides great moisture to our skin without sticky feeling. I normally only need to apply once in the morning and once in the evening during winter time. The price of this product is great especially when it's on sale.

New Container
I routinely buy Vasiline Intensive care for daily use but have recently bought the new bottle with the flat smart pump and am very disappointed - when get down to the near bottom it does not pump out the remains and the top is virtually unable to be removed making it impossible to get the remaining cream out- bought it once and thought it was just that bottle but with the second bottle realized it was the same problem

Vaseline pump
I have used Vaseline Intensive Care for years. However I do not like the design of this bottle. It’s impossible to get the top off to access the cream remaining in the bottle. Also, on several occasions I have pressed on the pump at the wrong end and get cream all over me. Did you even test this design before putting it in the market?

Light, Fast Absorbent & Smells Great!

For the summer however, I think this one will definitely be better as it is a bit lighter yet still very effective. It has a nice clean scent and I have already purchased a smaller bottle to keep at work! Overall, very effective and a good value.

I use this Vaseline dry skin repair whenever I'm at my mothers house because she swears by it, I find the this lotion is great because it really does completely absorb into your skin so it's no wonder it leaves your skin super soft. Vaseline products can be a little pricey but considering how big the bottles are its well worth it in the long run.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I'm currently using a bottle of this at home. I think it works well in hydrating the skin after showering, and for everyday use. I do agree that it is light-weight and non-greasy and absorbs into the skin quickly. But, do I think that it is an intensive care dry skin repair miracle worker? I think the greatest way to test this claim is to see if it effectively moisturizes the driest part on your body - in my opinion, the heels of your feet. They are put through so much and for me, are generally very dry throughout the year. I like to use Glysomed to moisturize them, especially during the winter. I've tested Vaseline Intensive Care Dry Skin Repair Lotion on my feet, and they are quick absorbing, but not as hydrating as I'd like. Thus, I wouldn't recommend it as a "intensive care dry skin repair" lotion, but it's OK as an everyday lotion.

My grandma loves this stuff to an almost unhealthy level, but you can hardly blame her it works SO good! But the Intensive Care Dry Skin Repair takes it to the next! It's absorbed into your skin within minutes and there is an instant noticeable difference.

I really, really, dislike those ones that just seem to sit on the surface of your skin. I can't stand that greasy feeling! With this, there is no greasy feeling, though! And the price is fantastice.
