I don't think this is a rich daily cream as it states on the box. I expected it to be just a little thicker in consistency. While it does give me some moisturization and smoother feel to my skin, it's not making me feel moisturized as much as I had hoped compared to other brands I have used. While it is not a greasy feel to it which is good, I feel the daily cream is a little thin. The wild rose scent is just okay for me personally. I would choose another scent if it comes in it. Seems a little strong for a day cream.

The product itself is a little bit on the watery side compared to other facial moisturizers. If you like thick creamy moisturizers this is not the one for you. However, it does do a good job of moisturizing. I did not notice a specific reduction in wrinkles as the packaging claims. The scent is a rose based smell and is not too strong but definitely obvious, my husband can smell when I have put it on and I walk in to a room right afterwards. If scented moisturizers bother you this one may not be for you. Overall I like this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The scent is really strong. First you notice the alcohol (doesn't alcohol dry out skin?) then the rose. I expected a thicker product since it's a cream, not a lotion. I wanted a thicker, more hydrating cream for my winter-dry skin, and something to protect my skin better in the harsh winter. This is just as thin as my usual green beaver lotion, but a lot more expensive. After a few weeks of using this,I haven't noticed any difference in the lines on my face.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Over powering smell [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try a new facial moisturizer seeing that my regular brand hasn't been doing much for me this winter. I happily opened the tube of weleda renewing day cream with wild rose extracts and was very pleased with what was coming out. The cream is nice and thick so that it won't instantly soak into the skin. It felt great as I was applying it to my forehead and then I applied it near my nose, thats when the smell hit me. It is so overwhelming that I instantly had to wash it off my face. If you REALLY like the smell of wild roses you should give this a try but if you are sensitive to smells this may not be the moisturizer for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Day Cream [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I avoid face makeup and prefer just a light dusting of face powder but when moisturizing one's face, most creams leave face with a wet look or greasy feel. Trying to add powder after that is a chore. I loved this Weleda cream! If is so silky smooth and left my face prepped and ready to add a hint of powder to go on with my day. I think my face looked and felt great all day. Loved that this cream is natural with no parabens or synthetic ingredients. And no animal testing is a must. New to Weleda but definitely impressed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Absorbs wonderfully, and I feel good knowing I'm putting natural ingredients on my skin. Helps with my new-found fine lines on the forehead. It's not going to last long because my skin absorbs so much of it, so I have to use more. It is very expensive for such a tiny tube, and that is my only complaint.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good day cream, though not liking the scent [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Weleda Renewing Day Cream , overall is a good day cream, helped in moisturizing my skin. The cream is creamy, however, not silky. This day cream reminded me of medicated ointment creams, maybe because of how it gets squeezed out as a tiny long tube - this probably good to control how much you take. The cream spreads lightly on the skin. The day cream is lightly scented, though I detect less of the rose scent but more of how cream ointments smells like. The scent does not linger much after application.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So smooth and smells great! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a post-menopausal woman in my 50s, I have some very dry skin. This cream is the perfect texture for my face. I am using a hyaluronic-acid serum underneath with the Day Cream over it. I like the soft appearance of my skin, and the scent is wonderful. I'm really impressed with this Weleda product; starting with ingredients and all the way to the tube design, which allows me to squeeze out the very last drop. My face is not shiny after application, and this product has caused no oiliness or breakouts on my temperamental skin. The texture is so creamy and absorbs well since it's not too thick or thin. I will most definitely continue using this wonderful hydrating cream and can't wait to try more Waleda products!
