Great brush!
Very helpful in getting my daughter to want to brush her hair! Not only does it have Ariel it doesn't pull! She loved it so much I got myself a purple original one. Definitely love!

Broke after 28 months, ok while lasted
I have 1c to 2a hair, depending on how my hormones are during the year. My hair is incredibly long, about to my tail bone, and of medium thickness.
I got this brush as a last resort before having to want to chop my hair off. Even after conditioning, spraying, and so on, brushes would rip huge clumps of hair out at a time or just get stuck or snap in half.
The brush did work, and I guess you might think that that in itself is worth 5 stars. However, I did have to liberally spray Infusium 23 after each shower (conditioner used) to be able to brush. Brushing was still a painful and frustrating hassle and took 10-20 mins depending on my level of patience. I still lost way too much hair. I'd clean clumps out between the bristles after every use.
After a month or so of use, many bristles were bent down or twisted. By the fourth month, the image was fading from skin contact. Red Fluff stuff is tangled around each bristle and I can't remove it. I also have no clue where it came from. It started accumulating over time but my hair is dark brown and not fluffy like this. It's really odd. Maybe the padding of the inside of the squishy brush middle is seeping out? Who knows.
I took half a stroke today and the handle snapped clean off.
I am impressed though, that even though the bristles were twisting so early on it was still continuing to do almost the same job as before for quite a while longer.
For the price, I guess it's ok. But I do know there are better brushes out there for cheaper and will last years longer
