Worth Every $
This thing is freakn fabulous!!! The first time I used it i chilled the coolyas suggested first, then put in the yeti block along with canned “refreshments” and some loose ice. By the end of the dAy the drinks were colder than they were when i put them in... and were a bit slusjy.
I love it so much i may use it while relaxing on my couch and im too lazy to go to the fridge
The Yeti Hopper-12 (Any yeti product) is without a doubt, worth every $

So Disappointing
We purchased this cooler just over a year ago. We absolutely loved it and brought it everywhere... until the zipper broke! We noticed that some of the teeth on the zipper track were sideways, which was no big deal because you can just straighten them back out. Then, the zipper completely broke. I’m so disappointed with the longevity and durability for the price. I expected this to last WAY longer for the price point. It is an investment that we won’t be making again with this brand. I am truly bummed because prior to that, we really loved it.

Most versatile bag ever
Great bag I love it I use it for my lunch bag and it keeps my drinks cool all day wowza, I just don’t like the hopper flip 8 with the sidekick dry the sidekick dry has frayed my Hitchpoint strap on the hopper from the sidekick drys Velcro which overlaps the Hitchpoint strap on hopper and scratched it but besides that it’s the best gear/lunch adventure bag ever!. I love the design, love the rugged, outdoorsy look it has. The hopper flip 8 is really good by itself.

Great! But The 8 is lunch bag sized
It’s small; really only good for one person. The 12 might be worth the bigger size if you can deal with the weight. I couldn’t.
I use mine on my kayak. I attached a yeti dry bag and cup holder to it which makes it pretty much perfect. I even attach my multi tool to the remaining webbing spot.
It stays clean and is tough enough to fish with. When I’m done it still looks brand new. Great cooler. Pricey but it’s utility is unrivalled.

I can carry it easily filled to the brim.
I really wanted the hard cooler for the same price as the soft cooler. I did a trail ride and camp out from Sunday am to the following Friday evening. I cooled it down with cold packs the day before then added the big yeti ice pack, a small no name variety and 2.5 lbs of ice. Filled it with my beverages. By Thursday it had no more ice only cold, I mean VERY COLD WATER left in the cooler. I didn’t open it often and I kept it out of the heat. When I got home on Friday the drinks that were in the water were still nice and cold. so hmm not sure why folks are complaining. It’s a decent soft sided cooler. Still would rather have the hard one but beggars can’t be choosers. I think the hard one would last even longer??? Oh another thing is that it’s really easy to carry. I bet the hard cooler doesn’t have that feature.

Perfect Packing
I have found the perfect fit. With a 4lb Yeti ice pack in base, I put 6 cans on one side with a 2lb. ice pack on top. Then 6 bottles of water on the other side with nothing on top as bottles are taller then cans. Perfect fit and stays cold all day with variety of drinks. Second option lasts even longer. 4lb ice in base with four Yeti 18 oz bottles with ice filled drinks. Packed with 1lb Yeti ice packs between to stop movement. Can fit two 26 oz. bottles and two 18 oz. bottles also. Never tested how long this would stay cold but always ice cold same day.

Buy one without zipper
Great cooler except for the zipper, can be difficult to open, becomes very frustrating
I have a lot of Yeti products, this is the first one I didn't like
