The coffee taste a lot better than my old mug
I used it for a few weeks. It has a superior isolation. The magnet open/close tab is genial, so easy to remove and clean. I was wondering if the black lid of my previous stainless steel coffee mud, quite old but I didn't use it until two years ago, was responsible for the coffee not tasting so great, it was.
The transparent lid gives a lot more confidence than a black lid, at least for the old one I was drinking from. It fits perfectly in the cup holder of my car, unlike my previous one, but it was not an issue anyway. Expensive but this is a quality product.
The only drawback is that it takes 15 minutes to go to work and I stay in my car listening to music for another 20 minutes drinking my coffee. Don't put too hot water in it, even without the lid, it takes forever to remove the heat.
When I finish work and the cup was exposed all day in a hot sunny day, the remaining coffee, because I don't have the time to drink it all in the morning in my car, is very hot and still very good. I want to point out this because with my previous mud, the coffee was not so good, but it gave me a hint about the black lid being responsible, since the mug was in stainless steel, it was.
It takes two seconds to remove the magnet tab and to clean the lid. I do it once a week and it is not dirty because I rinse the mug and the lid before putting coffee in it in the morning. I just slide the magnet tab while rinsing it and I don't bother. If there is dirt, it would be easy to see with the transparent lid. It never happened to me but i check while rinsing or drinking.
So, the transparent lid, the sliding magnet tab and the quality of the lid not changing the taste of the coffee are the main points. The fact that I said superior isolation is not so important to me but it could for people who travel.

Husband loves it for the cold days!
Keeps his coffee hot for 8 hours he said! Only issue is the lid is finiky to get it to screw on at the right drinking angle. And the drinking spout is angled different than the other lids... making the drink come out slower... Other than that he loves everything about it! He tipped it over and it did not leak anything!

Ive always loved my yeti mugs and i bought this one hoping it would be spill proof but it still leaks from the magnet. I carry it around with me everywhere and its hard to keep it upright all the time. Still a 4 star because it keeps my coffee hot how ever long i need it to be

Hot coffee all the time
Totally amazed to have hot coffee at 3 pm. I can't always get to my full mug through out the day, to have hot coffee in the afternoon rather than heat up stall coffee is just amazing.

Worth every penny!
I was skeptical about spending the money on a Yeti. Love that it pieces me wrong! Keeps my drink super cold and/or hot for hours. No complaints and I bought a second one
