Amazing micellar water
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I thought I had a HG micellar water and that nothing would knock it off its throne. My old HG now has a buddy, this is amazing! Made for dry, sensitive skin, this all-in-one formula contains no oil, alcohol or fragrance. Glycerin is the 2nd ingredient, making this micellar water a great hydrator!
My eyes can be sensitive, and I over-saturated a pad once by mistake and got some in my eyes. While it wasn't pleasant, my eyes didn't sting or burn! The micellar water also worked pretty effectively. I could do my usual routine of holding the pad to my eyes for a couple of seconds to "soak" the area, then gently wipe away the makeup, and everything came off nicely without the need for pressure or many passes. I could treat the skin around my eyes gently while making sure I got everything off. It worked well as a first pass to remove sunscreen too when I was just too tired to deal with an oil-based cleanse before my water-based cleanse.
Fun bonus, the bottle is very ergonomic and easy to hold and use. I find the lid easy to use even if my joints ache and I like that it's not a big round bottle to manoeuvre. Garnier also prints instructions in a prominent area for how to recycle the bottle, and the bottle itself is made from 20% recycled plastic. Kudos!
