Good for winter curls
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The scent on application is a bit unpleasant but once it dries is very slight and not off-putting. The hold is very light and is great to control dry hair without weight in the winter months. It doesn't leave a residue and works well with Frizz Ease oil and creams if additional moisture and control is needed.

Good Definition, Disappointing Ingredients
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I got this product in my TopBox Circle Review box for this past week. At first I was extremely apprehensive about it, because I have very fine afro type 3C/4A hair that is blonde. I didn’t expect to get good definition or hold, nor did I expect this product to actually moisturize my hair.
Upon initially trying it as directed, I got a decent hold but my hair felt dry. After pairing it with my usual all-natural moisturizer, the results were significantly better. My hair was bouncy, defined, shiny, and not crunchy. It survived my pineapple overnight, and I’m currently on day 3 hair with no refresh required. It smells good, is fast and easy to work through my hair compared to gel (which I usually use), and takes up very little room on my shelf.
Cons: I don’t think this would work for Black hair without a moisturizer first, nor would it do as well on a coarse type 4B/C texture or heavy hair.
I was really disappointed with the ingredients; if you’re going to compete and try to enter the natural hair market, you need to step your game up! The products need less fillers and stabilizers, and more humectants and moisturizers. I’d highly recommend John Freida find a way to incorporate a sealant of some sort (glycerin-like) to help attract and trap moisture, since curly hair tends to be drier anyway.
All in all, I was pleasantly surprised, and will be adding this to my product rotation.

Feels Great!
Growing up, I have always wanted to tame my curls and have more natural and less fizz in my hair. It was always hard because no matter which products I used, the mousse would always leave my hair to be feeling so hard and stiff! however, with this product, I found it to be so natural looking and feeling so soft! The smell and feel is great and I would recommend to all. Cheers to a #freeproduct, must #trywithtopbox !

Good mousse!

I have naturally curly hair, and usually use creams because I find mousse to leave my hair too crunchy. This pleasantly surprised me! I like to use it in combination with a curl cream, it gives added hold to my curls and helps keep frizz at bay. The scent is also super pleasant!

Light texture that works!
I received the Frizz Ease Dream Curls, CURL REVIVER MOUSSE as a #Sample and was curious to use it. I had not heard of abyssinian oil and was curious to see it do its job. And what a great job it did.
My curls sometimes lack life because of thinning hair, but the mousse worked well and certainly gave my curls bounce and kept them together.
I loved that it's not heavy or sticky in texture -- and easy to use.

Love having Dreamy Curls!
This Frizz Ease Dream Curls Curl Reviver Mousse worked really well on my curly hair. I have difficulty finding a moose that helps to define my curls but doesn’t feel crunchy. This product helps keep my hair soft and I even was able to revive it by just wetting my hands and scrunching my hair the next day. I also loved the subtle scent. Amazing for drug store mousse
Okay I am a salon/ pro product snob and I have to say I was pretty impressed by this mousse you can get at your local drug store. It left my curls frizz free and bouncy! And no crunchy hard feeling! I also don’t like when there is product build up and there didn’t seem to be any with this mousse! I will purchase again! I did receive this complimentary for review but my opinion is unbiased and 100% my own.

Good for curls

She said that on her way hair, this worked a bit too well and made her waves tighter than she prefers but it did tame her frizz quite a bit. Really holds my stlye!

I normally get frustrated and throw my hair into a bun by mid day, but my hair was so much more tamed that there was no need. This product really kept my frizz at bay. I'm now curious about the other products in this line.

Curl Reviving Mousse

A small pump is enough to cover a lot of the surface. The foam looks like shaving cream. It's great to use to also tame the hair. Great Affordable Mousse
I received this mousse complimentary for testing purposes from Topbox. I have REALLY curly hair and find it hard to find affordable products that do work with my hair. This mousse kept my curls looking healthy and frizz-less, without any gross crunchy feeling. I will note that I only used it directly after a shower, applied to damp hair so I’m not sure how it would work on dry hair.

Amazing curl hold
I got this #freeproduct to try from #tryitwithtoobox and I was sceptic at first because my curls are super frizzy but this went to work right away I put it on while my hair was still damp and just put it on the mid shaft to ends and let it dry how it wanted and it came out really nicely the curls weren’t frizzy as usual it was sleek and stayed that way all day love it

Quel dommage d'avoir reformulé mon produit préféré pour mes boucles... Le rendu n'est pas du tout le même avec la nouvelle formulation : cheveux secs, moins bonne tenue... Soft to the touch

I have loved this mousse from the first time I tried it many years ago. I have had so many comments on the smell too. I have tried other products but there is nothing out there to compare, even the other John Frieda products don't compare. I hope this is never discontinued, but I am starting to have a hard time finding it.

Defining curls!
I have received this product for free for review but it doesn't influence my opinion. #freeproduct This mousse defines my chemical treated curls which have been lossen and neglected over the time due to the pandemic. No extra efforts and skills needed to get your curls more voluminous and sophisticated with this product!

amazing curls

Light weight mousse
This product is a very light weight mousse. It is a very good prince point for the quality of product you get. It held my curls all day. I did not have to recurl my hair the next day. My only complaint is the smell of the product. I would definitely purchase this product. #freeproduct

Great for curly hair!

I was excited to try this as it is really hard to find a product that works with curly hair. I applied it on wet hair and blow dried it. I did not find it sticky and it held up my curls all day with no added frizz.
