Amazing Zero Waste Sponges
These sponges work well for us. At first they were stiff but with some extra water and an extra dip in the dish bar soap, they softened up and carried the dish soap really well, at least that was our experience. After two weeks of use they are really soft but still hard enough to scrub pots and pans. We try to buy stuff that can be composted after use. This product's package said on it that even the package can be composted, we hope that's true and will attempt to compost it. Hope they continue to sell these at well.ca.

Looking for Loofah from
Too abrasive and inflexible - get a different brand
Unfortunately these loofahs are really hard, even after soaking. Too hard to be useful as dish sponges, as they can't get into curves and corners. And be warned - they are abrasive enough to strip the enamel off of an enameled cast iron pot. I recommend the Sitti brand loofahs instead - they work beautifully. Just cut each one in half to get the right size.

Too Hard
Sadly, these are way too hard to clean dishes with. They are stiff too ridgid and not practical to use. The good thing was the size (pretty big) and eco-friendly packaging, but I'm not sure what to do with them now.
